I always win on accuracy. I’m just not very fast.My arm always hurts after but it’s so fun. I normally win the first few games but by the end I can’t keep up because my arm hurts and I lose
That’s exactly what happens to me. I always win the first couple games and Dh catches up and then the last one where you go really fast he always gets way too many points

Oh my goodness, I am so far behind lately! Plugging away at a CIP MSR for DH and AA Biz MSR for myself.

I do have a fun announcement....DD auditioned late Sept for her DCP to be in entertainment and yesterday she got the email offering her the position!!!!!!!!!!!! She moves down in January. So exciting! :tink:

I also just did something I have never in all my Disney years done before....paid rack rate for a resort. GASP!!!! :faint: I had booked CSR last minute to go down next week on AP rate. But, I kept checking for a value resort and finally saw POP at rack rate and it is still a tad cheaper than CSR was and no internal bus and I will have Skyliner access...so it makes sense. Well, at least I am paying with discounted gift cards.
Congratulations on your Dd new position! That is so exciting!

Back in High School I briefly had a Tshirt business because...why not? I always had some sort of scheme going to make money off of people. At any rate; my mom was the labor for my biz. Can’t beat free - she ironed for hours for me. She must love me!

I always say you can have ANYTHING you want but you can’t have EVERYTHING you want. People definitely don’t understand “choices”...
Were you making and selling South Fayette t-shirts?!

That is so nice she ironed them on for you!! My long night was not something I had planned on doing. I was in a club and we had t-shirts designed for an event, but there were last minute changes and the main attraction fell through so the shirt design was rendered useless. There was no way we could get something new in such a short amount of time soooo we improvised. Something I look back on now and laugh at.

I have one friend I don't tell about my trips but that's because she's invited herself along before and I don't want her trying again. I don't enjoy traveling with her as an adult any more than I did at 18 for our grad trip. And what started out as just the bff and me ends up as me as odd man out cause it's just easier to be the one sitting alone on the ride or whatever. They only do stuff when I'm involved too, they are friends but not that close. Bff and I both know this so not sure if the other does.

Well I mean when you go in the main room with the staircase or off to the add-on with the big circus tent hallway LOL 🤣

I go on TSM a lot LOL

Here are the others. I will include the volcano for those that don't know it:

Barn level - If you hit the mouse on the barn, it shows the inside of the barn with mice, and then the barn flips. Hitting the fox also releases the hens (which the ride tells you).

Volcano level - If you hit the three balloons coming out the volcano 2x, it will erupt with 1000 point balloons. Then 2 meteors appear on the left and right. If you hit them until they fall to the ground (3x) 1000 point meteor clusters come out.

Plate level - If you hit both 2000 point moving plates in the same round when they pop up, a tank appears and starts throwing 5000 point plates.

Alien level - If you clear all the aliens in the enter rocket at one time, the rocket takes off and reveals a robot. The robot opens it mouth and you can earn multiples of 100, 500, 1000, and 2000 points.

Woody/Jessie level - If you clear the whole screen, you get 1000 and 2000 point targets covering the whole screen!

I knew some of this. I took a screenshot so I can study it in line in a couple weeks 😁

DH beats me on score and accuracy, too...even left handed. Sigh. I'm tempted to make him play blindfolded but he'd probably still win, lol. I remind myself he gets paid to have good hand/eye coordination!

Same here. I think I beat DH one time, and he trounced me the rest of the time. I got lucky and hit some huge jackpot thing. DH's first "real job" was testing video games, which means playing them all day long and looking for errors, so he's good at this stuff compared to me. That job also cured him of ever wanting to buy video games so that was a win-win. :rotfl:

I have a room only night at a Disney resort booked on my CSR. It activated the travel credit. What happens to the credit if I cancel the room reservation?

You keep it - congrats 😉 You’ve discovered a back door method for cashing out the TC.
@SouthFayetteFan @Lain @platamama do you know if there is a retention for the CSR? My renewal is this month! Of course I plan on keeping the card but I always appreciate extra URs lol
I personally don’t recall reading of any retention offers on the CSR. I believe Their attitude is the benefits either work for you or they don’t.

If you have other UR cards you might want to checkout the info on upgrades and downgrades over on the Advanced strategies thread on DISchurners.

Finally!!! Woo hoo! (Although that pending charge I looked at before I went to bed this morning is.... still pending... which means I "overspent" on this particular card. Oh well.)

I do love this tracker. I wish all cards in all situations had something similar!

I called AMEX (thanks, @Lain) and got their middling offer of 20K MRs for 3K spend and took it. I don't want to cancel and then get pop ups. And DH and I wanted to slow down the application velocity, so this will help with that. And my MR count is really low right now, so this will actually make me have a useable amount should we decide to take another trip. Both the cash and the points offers were there, but I tend to get far more value from those points than 1¢ so I went with points. Considering how I rarely use this card and how little spend I put on it, I figured it was a pretty good deal.

Joining in in the Toy Story Mania talk! My husband and I are super competitive. It's our favorite ride. And yes @PolyRob we know the tricks and usually work well together and get them all.

We both had in our vows (which we wrote independently) that we wouldn't be upset when we lose and wouldn't gloat when we win, some variation of that. I used to go on solo trips before he was in my life, and I used to kick his butt when he first started coming with me. But he's gotten up to speed and now we each have an equal chance of winning. One time he had a streak of 10 wins in a row and I got super upset. He had to remind me of the vows lol. I'm still sour about it and bring it up often haha!

On our Epcot days, we normally start at Hollywood Studios and make Toy Story our only FP+ then hop to Epcot. Seriously we love this ride. Our original wedding plans even included a ride mix in, but then we switched things.

I think my fav parks would be:
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom
Epcot
Magic Kingdom

Sacrilege to put MK last I'm sure. But DHS is number one easily. Not only Toy Story, but 50's Prime Time/Tune In are very special to us. I still keep in touch with the first server I ever had at Prime Time, he and his wife were even at our wedding. And a few of the bartenders know to start us Electric Lemonades as soon as we walk in (old recipe only please! This was the signature drink at our wedding too!). Haha Hollywood Studios is my heart :)
