You can certainly see that she maxed out the points. :) Good for her!
I honestly have no idea what I am doing on it and I still love it.
 I think this may be my favourite comment ever.
Nicely done. :)
I love this park so much except the crowds, with pushy, and rude people gets to be a bit much.
:( Well, that's not cool. Sorry the crowds were like that for you.
We needed to escape to a less stressful world so we headed back in time on the CoP
::yes:: That'll do it.
PM was next. This is another great stress reliever. I got the obligatory picture on here.
It must be done. ::yes::
We went to Lunching Pad and the CM gave me a free Diet Coke, that was nice. I must have looked like I could use the caffeine.:drinking1
Uh, oh... Were you okay?
They were enjoying the tea except the daughter was a little cranky and short with her mom, huh, imagine that. I had no idea what the poor mom must be feeling!:rolleyes1:hyper:
:rolleyes1
We had a fair waitress, she was sweet, however, a bit pushy and wanting us to order right away.
:(
No. Tea is supposed to be a relaxing, calming experience.
Tell her to go away and come back in xx minutes (whatever time you think appropriate.)
And when she brings everything out... tell her to take it all back.
This is really inexcusably poor service.
Well, everything arrived all at once literally 2 minutes after the tea and then we never saw our waitress again. It was the famous Disney disappearance of the wait staff!
:sad2:

Tip: Negative $10.

This post could be called, my love/hate relationship with MK, could our photos be any worse, pinky out for tea, could we be any closer to these guests? where did our server go? Is she ever coming back?

Haha I love these little alternate titles!

Andi was a galactic hero, yay, again, happy for her.:sad2:

Yay! Good for Andi!

This is where my love/hate feelings came out. I love this park so much except the crowds, with pushy, and rude people gets to be a bit much.

I sometimes feel like this about MK, too. It seems more of an issue here than in other parks for me.

PM was next. This is another great stress reliever. I got the obligatory picture on here.

PM is so great for this!

Well, everything arrived all at once literally 2 minutes after the tea and then we never saw our waitress again. It was the famous Disney disappearance of the wait staff!

Oh no! Service sounded terrible. :( But your tea looked nice!

I really want to do the Tea, every review I see is so positive (except for your service lol). Steve is on the fence about it so I may have to wait for the next EPIC Girls' Trip............

How frustrating for the monorail to not be running for EMH!

I love living through other people's reviews of the GF tea because I don't drink tea so I'll probably never do it :rotfl: but it looks so lovely! Ugh that server doesn't sound great though!

This post could be called, my love/hate relationship with MK, could our photos be any worse, pinky out for tea, could we be any closer to these guests? where did our server go? Is she ever coming back?
Sounds like you're off to a great start :P

Wow, those are not good. Poor Rapunzel looks like she should be at the wax museum and not Disney World

We needed to escape to a less stressful world so we headed back in time on the CoP. What a nice decompressor this ride is, even when we got stuck in the 40’s for awhile.
It really is. Every time we get frustrated with the crowds to a little CoP or Country Bears can just change our whole mood.

They were enjoying the tea except the daughter was a little cranky and short with her mom, huh, imagine that. I had no idea what the poor mom must be feeling!:rolleyes1:hyper:
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Good thing you never experience anything like this

We really enjoyed our afternoon high tea. We made sure to have pinky out when drinking the tea. The service was initially very rushed and then basically non existent so definite negative for me.😞
Glad you all were able to enjoy the tea despite the seating and server forces working against you.

Your afternoon tea looks lovely but it's a shame you felt rushed to order.
Love how PM and COP can change a person's mood and make the world seem a much more chilled place :thumbsup2

We did Buzz twice, the second time Andi was a galactic hero, yay, again, happy for her.:sad2:
If only she would share her secrets with her mom... ;)

This ride makes me happy. I honestly have no idea what I am doing on it and I still love it.
Same!!! :rotfl:

We needed to escape to a less stressful world so we headed back in time on the CoP.
CoP is always wonderful for escaping a crazy-crowded MK

They were enjoying the tea except the daughter was a little cranky and short with her mom, huh, imagine that. I had no idea what the poor mom must be feeling!:rolleyes1:hyper:
Nope, you have no idea what that feels like, do you? ;):rotfl:

The tea looks and sounds delicious - except for the magically disappearing server of course :sad2: They should include on the menu: Caution: servers will disappear automagically like they have on the doors at Philharmagic ;):sad2:

Trying my best to get all caught up around here after travel and life stuff. :)

I have today off and I am planning to lounge around today. :faint:

The best way to spend a day off! I don't think I've gotten off my couch for 6 hours.

We use to come here with virtually no crowds and ride Dinosaur over and over! I think our record was 9x in a row and Andi’s Everest record was 11x in a row, those days are gone now!
My back probably couldn’t handle Dinosaur that much now:scared1:

100% gone. Sad.

I have a newfound love for Dinosaur, but like you, I can do it once then my neck starts to protest.

It is the 4500# Rhino’s choice, of course!

4500# rhinso get to call the shots! Sounded like such a wonderful tour!

It was time for our flight and it was awesome as always, minus the um guy. :rotfl:

Umm, carry on then!

:lmao:

Do you think we ordered the bread service? ::yes::

Is this a trick questions?

That is absolutely adorble!

This change literally saved me $800.00 so I had to do it.

That's a deal you can't refuse. Sacrifices at times do have to be made.

I capped the night with going down to watch HEA in front of the Gasparilla Grill. This was so awesome. Perfect viewing of the fireworks and the music is piped in. You can see the castle, however, this is not the place to watch the castle projections. I would recommend this spot 1000x if you are a veteran of HEA. There is absolutely no pushing, shoving, or tall people in front of you, and I simply walked a few feet from our building and then back up to the room in a few minutes at the end! This was perfect. Andi didn‘t join me, she is still not a huge fan of HEA, the girl holds a grudge. :rolleyes1

You're right! It's a delighful place to watch HEA and that's just what we did during our stay there. A very relaxing way to do it.

Andi was able to substitute the curry chicken salad with another vegetarian choice. Well, everything arrived all at once literally 2 minutes after the tea and then we never saw our waitress again. It was the famous Disney disappearance of the wait staff!

Completely and totallly inexcusable. I'd have not only not tipped but probaby said something to the manager. That is definitely one experience that is supposed to be slowly paced and relaxing, not rushed and then ignored.

This ride makes me happy. I honestly have no idea what I am doing on it and I still love it.
If only she would share her secrets with her mom... ;)

Next time we meet up (hoping it's sooner rather than later), I'd be happy to show either or both of you. Showed my wife last week and she got her first GH ever! She was pleased as punch and I was proud of her because she actually got it before I did.

It's so frustrating when the attraction lines get out of control. Jungle Cruise in particular seems much busier with FP+ than I ever remember it being with FP-. I'm glad you still enjoyed multiple attractions even with the craziness!

I'm glad you enjoyed your tea despite your sub-par waitress. It's definitely unusual to get everything at once - usually they bring the sandwiches and scones first and wait a bit offer you dessert. At least you just had an absent server - my 2015 visit there involved getting hit on by our waitress which was all sorts of uncomfortable. I felt like a train wreck that day (and had even visited urgent care that morning with a sinus infection) so I'm sure I looked like a prize. Also, bless her attempt, but she was aiming her affections at the wrong person as I would never be interested. It was the strangest interaction with a server that I've ever had.
We did have a pretty good morning despite the crowded park. It got really busy fast.
The Tea was enjoyable, however, it would have been much better with a better waitress.
Sorry you had a weird experience at The Tea. I’m surprised she was so unprofessional. Our waitress was on the older side and was just going through the motions. It seemed like she wanted to rush and get the service over with for her part and then take long breaks :rotfl:

You can certainly see that she maxed out the points. :) Good for her!
Yes, she was pleased with herself! I remember the first time she did it, she was so proud and got a Galactic Hero button!
I think this may be my favourite comment ever.
Haha! It is so true, I love the lights and aliens, however not a clue what I am doing!:confused3
Well, that's not cool. Sorry the crowds were like that for you.
It was very crowded early on so it makes it hard to do much!
Uh, oh... Were you okay?
I was just fine, he must of thought I could use a drink. It was very nice.
Tea is supposed to be a relaxing, calming experience.
Tell her to go away and come back in xx minutes (whatever time you think appropriate.)
And when she brings everything out... tell her to take it all back.
This is really inexcusably poor service.
I should have said something, we were so close to the other table and I didn’t feel like making a scene, I should have nicely said slow down lady.
Tip: Negative $10.
This rings true, I didn’t leave much.

Haha I love these little alternate titles!
Thanks, it definitely what I was doing or thinking, :rotfl:
Yay! Good for Andi!
She has Buzz down to a science now
sometimes feel like this about MK, too. It seems more of an issue here than in other parks for me.
I know, it such an amazing place with so many feel goods however lately it is so darn crowded
PM is so great for this!
It really is, we love this ride so much!
Oh no! Service sounded terrible. :( But your tea looked nice!
The tea was lovely minus the subpar service
I really want to do the Tea, every review I see is so positive (except for your service lol). Steve is on the fence about it so I may have to wait for the next EPIC Girls' Trip............
I would do again on an Epic trip. It really is enjoyable and the food and tea are yummy!
How frustrating for the monorail to not be running for EMH!
This really is, we would have been there in 5 minutes and already been through security!
I love living through other people's reviews of the GF tea because I don't drink tea so I'll probably never do it :rotfl: but it looks so lovely! Ugh that server doesn't sound great though!
I’m not a huge tea lover, except the flavored teas are really good! I think you should try it.

Sounds like you're off to a great start
Do I hear sarcasm:laughing:
Wow, those are not good. Poor Rapunzel looks like she should be at the wax museum and not Disney World
These pictures were so bad! Rapunzel did look wax like
It really is. Every time we get frustrated with the crowds to a little CoP or Country Bears can just change our whole mood.
So true, I was surprised how busy MK was this August!
Good thing you never experience anything like this
Crabby daughter taking it out on mom, never!:D
Glad you all were able to enjoy the tea despite the seating and server forces working against you.
It was nice but could have been much better!
Hi Caroline.

As has happened before, the DIS never notified me there was an update, so I'm playing catch up again, so I won't be trying to multi quote. Great pictures and fun dismeets!
Hi Doc! Thanks for continuing to read along. The Dis gives me grief sometimes.
Your afternoon tea looks lovely but it's a shame you felt rushed to order.
Love how PM and COP can change a person's mood and make the world seem a much more chilled place
It was poor service at the beginning and the end.
PM and CoP are so Disney and away to escape the big crowds.

If only she would share her secrets with her mom..
Right! She claims she has but she has only given me tiny little hints, not the important ones:laughing:
CoP is always wonderful for escaping a crazy-crowded MK
Yes it sure is. We never tire of it!
Nope, you have no idea what that feels like, do you? ;):rotfl:

The tea looks and sounds delicious - except for the magically disappearing server of course :sad2: They should include on the menu: Caution: servers will disappear automagically like they have on the doors at Philharmagic
So true, it really was lovely despite the poor service!
Next time we meet up (hoping it's sooner rather than later), I'd be happy to show either or both of you. Showed my wife last week and she got her first GH ever! She was pleased as punch and I was proud of her because she actually got it before I did.
Hey Doc, I will take you up on it! Maybe we can meet up again in January. Several of the Epic crew will be there also!

Trying my best to get all caught up around here after travel and life stuff. :)
Life is so busy, read when you can!
The best way to spend a day off! I don't think I've gotten off my couch for 6 hours.
It really is, when I was younger I would be busy busy on my days off, now I have learned to slow down some and enjoy the day. Housework never goes away. :rotfl:
100% gone. Sad.

I have a newfound love for Dinosaur, but like you, I can do it once then my neck starts to protest.
Yes, sadly those days are gone, we use to be able to ride some attractions over and over with low crowds
4500# rhinso get to call the shots! Sounded like such a wonderful tour!
Yes indeed! I would recommend the tour, so enjoyable
That is absolutely adorble!
This was the first time I got a Cinderella carriage towel!
That's a deal you can't refuse. Sacrifices at times do have to be made.
Yes, I guess one layover is not to bad with those prices. Spring break prices are so much higher, ugh!
You're right! It's a delighful place to watch HEA and that's just what we did during our stay there. A very relaxing way to do it.
It really is such a perk when staying at GF
Completely and totallly inexcusable. I'd have not only not tipped but probaby said something to the manager. That is definitely one experience that is supposed to be slowly paced and relaxing, not rushed and then ignored.
It was nothing like our service in May. The food was fine and the tea was enjoyable. The poor service did lessen the experience.

I’m not a huge tea lover, except the flavored teas are really good! I think you should try it.
I am a tea lover, but not a fru fru (sp?) type of person, so not sure I'd enjoy this except maybe if I did it with one of my daughters or DW.

Crabby daughter taking it out on mom, never!
No, that would never happen.

It was poor service at the beginning and the end.
PM and CoP are so Disney and away to escape the big crowds.
Too bad on service...I would have talked to the manager about it. Given the price, it's expected to have above average service, not subpar.
I love WEDway and CoP has grown on me. As a kid, I remember thinking it was boring (and for a kid especially, it is).

Hey Doc, I will take you up on it! Maybe we can meet up again in January. Several of the Epic crew will be there also!
:yay: and :yay:
