what did you get your kids for christmas

I have two girls (ages 5 and 3). They are getting two joint gifts of a Nugget Comfort and a newer, larger play kitchen the Kidkraft Farmhouse kitchen. Then individually they are both getting a few small things for their bitty babies/american girls the youngest is also getting a duke kaboom stuffed animal and PJ masks owlette and glider toy. And the oldest is also getting a unicorn purse and a Frozen Anna styling head. Then they'll get a few small things in their stockings (like chapstick, nail polish, new gloves, hair things, etc.).

New snow pants because DD will probably go skiing with her Aunt and cousins (she's been invited), some books and some other clothes. All stuff i know she'd like.

what did you get your kids for christmas please share
This year? Nut n' Honey :rotfl:
Just had a convo with DGD's dad and he wants to buy her emerald earrings and a ring that I should go look for. Pfft on soooooo many levels.
Since he's not much of a West Indian or even a French peasant on his father's side (inside joke) I told him I wanted a canary diamond in a pink gold setting. Can't imagine why he giggled nervously....

DGD is going to DC, Universal, and Disney as her gift from us- Happy Holidays!

We got sick of fixing and buying new Kindles, so we asked my sister and father in law to just pool the money they would have given them and get them the $249 iPads.
We got them wireless headphones (inexpensive lightning deal I luckily stumbled upon on Amazon with great reviews) to go with the iPads. And of course they each get a Nerf gun. Because the 20 in my house already just aren't enough. They will share a Switch game or two and I will get a few things for their stockings.
In my world that's all the get, because we are taking them two at a time to Disney in January. My husband is a sucker and will go out and buy stuff just so they have more to unwrap. That's usually the stuff I donate right after the holiday:rolleyes:

Oldest daughter will get money, her choice.
Middle daughter an Instant pot and toaster oven that she picked out from Amazon.
Youngest daughter a new nose ring to replace the one she has had to leave in since getting the piercing and a box of Starbucks kierug coffee pods for her dorm.

Grandson, didn’t get the list from his mom yet.

DS is getting a Keurig and a set of bluetooth earbuds. I'll do more shopping the week before Christmas and get him the usual socks and underwear for his stocking. DH's grown DD's get cash, which we'll e-transfer to them on December 15.

I have adult kids......DS is getting a new Roku box and a bunch of games (both board and game system)
DD is getting a jewelry armoire and a bunch of smaller things.

Dinosaurs. My kid is two and he is deep into his love of all things dino, so 75% of his gifts are related to that in some way. He’s finally started to show an interest in books so he’ll be getting about a dozen and a half more books. There are a few educational toys like puzzles and robots and things relating to counting and the alphabet, and since his new brother will be arriving in a few months he’s getting a baby doll and doll accessories so he can start practicing. A couple of gifts relate to the cultural theme we’re doing this year and there’s a handful of advent calendar and stocking stuffer trinkets thrown in, but it’s mostly dinosaurs. Rawr. 🦖🦕

Family gift: Switch
Oldest: probably some games
Middle: Nintendo Bowser Castle Playset and games
Youngest: K'next and probably Legos

Judge if you want but Christmas is about more than gifts. And FYI it was my oldest daughter who suggested it.

My "children" are 26 & 28.
Thank you for respecting your daughter’s wishes regarding the gifts. Older generations who refuse to stop exchanging gifts can put quite a burden on the younger family members who want to opt out of the stress and expense that comes with gift buying.

:goodvibes That is so cool, I remember you mentioning it last year. What's the 2019 theme?
