Has anyone else noticed this happening?
While staying at the Contemporary resort in both February and again in November, we were charged for parking everyday during our stay - and we didn’t have a car!!
Luckily I checked our room charges BEFORE we checked out since those charges disappear from the app after you leave.
In February, it took a while on the phone during our vacation while I called and explained what was happening. They finally removed the charges and said that sometimes they mistakenly think that an Uber is a guest’s car. I told them that we arrived in a yellow cab!!
On our last trip last month, it happened again. This time I knew to check for these parking charges... and I kind of expected it to happen again. And it did!!
We had a club level room during our last trip so it was easier to deal with... I just told the concierge our room number and asked her to remove the parking charges since we didn't have a car. She said she didn’t know why but it happens a lot.
So, be sure to check your room charges DURING your vacation - or ask for a hard copy of your room charges so you can check the details when you get home.
