You had quite the trip, didn't you? June 2019 Completed 12/4! New TR Link 1/19!

The monorail ride into Epcot is always a favorite of mine
Glad to hear your ride on SE was better this time around
I totally agree about Soarin, just not as much fun anymore with the distortion.
Fish and chips in the UK has always been a favorite, looks good!

Sounds like such a good start to your Epcot day! So many cute photos!!

Thank you!

Great way to start your day in Epcot!!!

It really was!

Its awesome!!

Thank goodness! haha

Yeah, I definitely miss Soarin over California!

I can't believe that was the first time we tried the quick service fish and chips! So good! And such an easy thing to split!

I imagine this ride is probably GORGEOUS during Flower and Garden, but it was still super cool to do! I love how it goes through EPCOT.

It is extra gorgeous during Flower and Garden!

The CM asked us our relationship (and good thing because Dan LOVES to give them a hard time if they have us kiss and they don’t ask our relationship beforehand. Hes a Dad joke lovin fool lol)

:rotfl: :rotfl: Mike does this too lol. I'm always like this was funny the first 20 times- it's not anymore lol.

Our first stop was in Canada and to my surprise I found a fun drink! Blueberry Banjo Frosty and let me tell you, it was TASTY!

Oo I never heard of this one! Sounds delicious!

I've never taken the monorail into Epcot and I've always wanted to. Two trips ago, we had reservations at Chef Mickey's on our Epcot day and I thought that was the perfect opportunity. We ended up scrapping Chef Mickey's for Akershus, so no monorail ride into Epcot for me.

That blueberry drink looked delicious! Do you know if they have that regularly or if it's seasonal?

Its one of those things that seems like such an obvious thing to do in Disney but only really makes sense when you're either staying on the monorail or like you said eating at Chef Mickeys before EPCOT! Definitely do it at some point, so fun! And I bet better now that there isnt a double security checkpoint! lol

I honestly am not sure about the drink! It was so good I hope they have it all the time!

Day 5 Part 4 Monday June 17th

After we finished eating we made our way to France and caught the show there. I’ve never really taken the time to watch the whole thing so it was cool to see!

Although it totally stresses me out and I always worry he'll fall! I know there's probably a bit of Disney magic to help prevent problems but he's still up there doing a hand stand!

We were starting to run short on time so we definitely didn’t spend as much time as we would have liked in the second half of the World Showcase! Lol which was a bummer but time flies when you're having fun!

Funnily enough we actually ran into family friends walking around World Showcase! They were coming from the opposite direction and it was completely coincidental! I always find it funny when you run into people like that so far away from home. It's happened a couple of times and always makes me think of how small the world really is! We stopped for a minute to chat but since we were kind of on a time crunch we kept our visit short and continued on!

Our next stop was to Italy because I really wanted to try the alcoholic popsicle! It was really good and didn’t have an overwhelming alcohol taste. It was perfect for a hot, summer day!

Our last stop was in Germany for Dan to get one last beer. The last time we had come to EPCOT I told him how everyone raves about the Grapefruit beer but he ignored me and got something else. This time, I think because of how warm it was that beer sounded refreshing and he went for it. He of course loved it! I actually tried a sip and I actually think that is a beer I would enjoy!

After Germany we decided it was probably smart to make our way out of EPCOT.

I thought we would take an uber back but Dan wanted to take the monorail so we went with that. We had enough time to make it back for the Magical Express but we would be cutting it close and probably wouldn’t have time for a last Club Level stop.

The monorail from EPCOT to the TTC was super quick. I was surprised that it was only a 2 or 3 minute monorail ride! While we waited for our resort monorail my Mom sent me a picture of Joy, she was definitely ready for her Momma and Dadda to come home!

We waited nearly 15 minutes for a resort monorail to get back to the Grand which ate away at our time buffer. Which was a bummer but at least we made it back in time for ME!

When we got back I took one last walk around the Grand Floridian lobby to soak it all in (who knows when I’ll be back to stay there!). The last song the pianist played was At Last I see the Light which was our first dance song at our wedding and it was a perfect, last magical moment!

I had actually not remembered to grab the letter for the magical express before leaving the room so I stopped by the front desk to get another one. And then we went outside to wait for the Tragical Express haha

Although, as sad as I was to be going home, we had SUCH an amazing trip and it was so much better than I ever even expected it to be! And considering it was only supposed to be a 3 day trip to start, I was thankful that we were able to stretch it to 5!

We made it to the airport pretty quickly (it was nice to veg out on the bus since I’m the one who usually drives and it can be a bit stressful!) Security was pretty dead so that was nice, we were through in about 15 minutes. Our flight was delayed a half hour (which was closer to an hour by the time we boarded) but it wasn’t too bad! Although, it ended up being an annoying flight because we had the one person who we spotted in the waiting area that we DID NOT want to sit near, pick the seat next to us. He started by listening to his music out loud – got yelled at. Put the tray table down to sleep on, before we even took off – got yelled at. And spent the whole flight adjusting his position every five minutes. I was VERY thankful when we landed! (And to note, we walked past two empty seats closer to the front with a sweet older woman and a crossword puzzle book. I should have listened to my intuition and sat with her!)

We made it home though and were able to get Joy from my parents before crashing into bed.

Like I said, this was one of the best Disney trips we've ever been on (even with having to work!). Between the club level rooms and service, the relaxed pace, our "private" tour and amazing meals it was just perfect. If you're wondering where the title of this trip report came from it was from my cousin who said to me "You had quite the trip, didn't you" when we got home. And I couldn't help but think we really did have quite the trip! Thank you for reading and commenting along on our magical June trip to Disney! I don’t know how we’ll ever top it!

I'll be back soon for a TR for my next report!

For now though, feel free to follow our instagram @cloeanddanvlogs - we are heading back to Disney World next Friday for a magical stay at Boulder Ridge and Christmasy goodness!

And if you have any interest in what we did buy on this trip -

Your dress was super cute that day!

I'm not a fan of beer either, but I've had a few sips of grapefruit beer and I agree that it is pretty tasty.

What a shame you were next to an annoying person on the plane. On my last flight, I was on the "birth control" plane. I was stuck near a mom and her five incredibly annoying kids. I almost felt sorry for her, but she had no control over her children. I'm a teacher. I like kids. This was beyond ridiculous. People sitting with eight rows of this family cheered when the plane landed.

I'm super jealous that you're getting in a Christmas trip. I was there the same exact days you were last year. I've been in a bit of a funk because no Christmas trip this year. Have a great time and be safe!

I'm glad Dan enjoyed the grapefruit beer!

It's always sad to come to the end of a Disney trip, but it was probably especially sad since you enjoyed this trip so much. It's a bummer you sat next to "that guy" on your flight, but thankfully it wasn't an long overseas flight.

Thank you so much for sharing your trip! I really enjoyed reading your report!

Sounds like some nice final moments in Epcot!

It's always sad to come home but I'm glad it was such an awesome trip for you two!!

Wow so cool!!

Sad face 😥

So, so beautiful

The last song the pianist played was At Last I see the Light which was our first dance song at our wedding and it was a perfect, last magical moment!
This is adorable for two reasons:
1. Because this was your first dance song (so cute!)
2. Because they were playing it as you left

because we had the one person who we spotted in the waiting area that we DID NOT want to sit near, pick the seat next to us.
Naturally, according to the Rules of the Universe

Wow you really did have quite the trip! It looked like such an amazing time at the Grand and with all the extra stuff you did, plus just a great time in the parks! I'll be following along on your next trip for sure.

Love reading your trip reports! I bet it was a dream come true staying at the Grand Floridian! Looking forward to reading about your next trip, have a great time!

Thanks for another wonderful trip report! I loved your haul vlog and LOVED the fact that they were playing your first dance song when you walked in to the GF. The same thing happened to us when we were on our way to V&A's for dinner and I completely agree on what a magical and perfect moment it was!

What an awesome trip! I also don't get into vloggers but I love watching you and Dan review beers and different things around WDW. Can't wait for the next TR!
