Men.... what do you want for Christmas. Some of you are difficult to buy for...

My husband is terribly difficult to buy for. We are only buying each other one gift under $50. (We are spending $ on a Disney trip early next year) Also we exchanged names and my sister needs ideas too, she has to buy for my husband. Trying to not buy a gift card.
He has plenty of stuff for his favorite football team. Only hobby is fishing occasionally. Is a firefighter. Likes: Star Wars and action movies, coffee, music. Any ideas.

I’m with you , my husband needs nothing. Plus I don’t work so it would be taking his money and putting it on a card for later...lol

Wish I could come up with something to surprise him. My family will give him candy and gift cards.

But saying this I don’t have anything on my list either.

Maybe you could get him tickets for his favourite team, favourite movie. Make it an experience instead . My BIL got my husband a gift certificate at the car dealer to detail his car . That was nice they even shampooed the carpets.

I gave my dh one of his presents earlier today because he needed them- a pair of fleece lined pants.
He had some work to do outside and it was very cold. I thought they were going to be a ho-hum gift but he really really liked them.
I'm also giving him a booze basket filled with some mixers, liquor (that he likes but won't buy himself) and a monogrammed low ball tumbler.
Stuff for the fire pit- good heavy duty campfire tongs and a kindling splitter.

Is your dh a coffee snob? I mean that in a good way LOL. What about some gourmet beans, a grinder and french press?
Any local places for music you can get him tickets for?
Disney + subscription so he can stream all the SW movies whenever he wants.

We have Disney +, he has already purchased tickets to the new Star Wars movie coming out. I could look into some local upcoming concerts, didn’t think about that. He isn’t too picky about coffee, he likes to try new brands. He doesn’t drink alcohol as much now. (We don’t party like we use to 😂)
I do like the idea of experiences rather than materialistic things.

To be honest, the most difficult part of Christmas season at my age is coming up with a list of gift ideas to give others. I don't need anything. I don't want anything, and when I do, if I do put it on a list, I end up getting that isn't what I wanted.
My wife tries to help everyone by linking to the Amazon or something similar vendor page for that item. Unfortunately she doesn't read carefully to see that that size, or color she wants isn't available. Or the sweater she wanted last year...that is STILL on back order a year later!

Are there any accessories he needs for his phone or laptop?
Useful items that can make his daily life easier such as a 9' to 12' charging cord, a new set of earbuds, etc.

They have "wine of the month" type clubs - I bet you could find one for coffee that ships different coffees to try on a regular basis. If he likes trying new coffees, that might be fun. I love the idea the previous poster made of the french press! I've always wanted to try one but it's something I won't take the time or money to buy for myself.

Honestly, if he likes Star Wars, the possibilities are endless. Start with the Box Lunch store for a few ideas. Or a Star Wars LEGO set (that’s what my DH really wants). Go on Tee Public and get him a couple of cool Star Wars tshirts. Or they’ll make the designs into sweatshirts or coffee mugs or...

My husband is impossible to shop for, never expresses a want for anything... but also likes Star Wars so I knit him a really cool Star Wars hat. Here's the picture from the free pattern on Ravelry:

The top has the Imperial symbol on it too!

Then I bought him a shirt that he loves in another color. So original!

I’ve certainly gotten to the point that the only things I want are those things that make my daily life easier. I told my wife to not buy me anything, put the money aside towards a tough book. It would definitely make my workday easier as it’s waterproof, and drop resistant, therefore allowing me to carry it with me to get work done in my downtime instead of waiting till I’m home in the evenings and weekends. I would break a regular laptop within minutes on the boat, in the shop, or on the tractor.
Does he need any new tools? Cordless drills/tools do wear out.
You said he likes fishing, maybe a new pole, ugly sticks are good and around $50.
A new yeti cup is nice, I just used a half off coupon for ACE hardware and got one for under $15

When I say I don't want anything, I don't want anything. But that's also selfish and takes away from the desire for my family to give me something.

The things I would buy for myself, golf equipment, guitar gear, those things I must play a role in selecting. Additionally, they are probably more expensive than I would be comfortable having spent on me.

A round of golf with my son and son-in-law. That's something that I would enjoy. But they live 400 miles apart.

I'm a problem as well because my birthday is on Christmas day.

If you don't already have Yeti cups, this is a great idea. My DH has the 32 oz and the 20 oz and uses them both almost daily. He takes both to work - ice tea in the big one and coffee in the smaller one.
