Early Flight back and Magical Express

Hey All,

Our flight back home for our upcoming reservation is at 7am. Its to Canada. I believe that means a ME pick up of 3am. Does ME run at 3am?

Hopefully they dont pick you up with the typical time window. That early, even with the I4 Cluster*** traffic, it wont take long to get to the airport and thru security!

Yes. I have taken it that early. They still use the 3 hour pick up i time so plan on a 4 am pick up.

It is possible that the SkyCap Airline Baggage Check-in desk will not yet be open. Do verify hours before your return travel day if checking your bags at the resort is part of your strategy.

We've taken to reserving a car service when the flight is that early - we get a bit more sleep!

My son had an early flight. ME took him there but he said the airport basically wasn't even open yet. Check for opening times for your flight, if that is even possible.

Airline desk at the resort doesn’t open till 5 so on early flights it is not an option.

The flights I have taken early were on Southwest and they were open and crowded when we got there around 5 am.

It is only 3 hours that they pick you up..except last year they raised it to 4 around December.

But, I have used it now it 6 times this year so far and it has always been just 3 hours, even for those early morning flights.

Weird. I was picked up at something like 3 on my last trip, and the airport was busy. Somewhat hushed (like everyone was too tired to be loud), but busy. I did a lot of people watching.

OP is going to Canada. International flight. I believe that makes a difference.

We stuck around Disney until later in the day and then took ME to the airport. Spent the night and got up and walked to check in/security. We found this better all around and way less stressful...

The bolded is a very important detail to keep in mind on your departure day. It is stated in the M.E. paperwork that is delivered to your room the day before. Guests are expected to be at the pickup location 15 minutes before scheduled departure time. I recently showed up at the M.E. pickup location only 5 minutes before our scheduled departure time only to watch the bus pull away as I turned the corner. Wasn’t a big deal as there was another bus due to arrive 30 minutes later. But that bus was nearly full and I almost didn’t get a seat on it. In the end, I arrived at my gate just as they were beginning the boarding process. Which was a little too close for comfort.

Way late but if I had that early of a flight I would just stay by the airport.
