What restaurants won’t you go to again?

Sci-Fi and Via Napoli. My family does not like the atmosphere at Sci-Fi and eating at the small tables sitting in rows in the dark is not fun for us. The food is just okay - nothing special. Via Napoli is loud and the food is just okay. There are better places for us to eat so we keep trying different places to find our favorites!
I agree that Via Napoli is REALLY loud. We've eaten there twice and both times requested to sit outside because it was way too loud inside. The patio area is actually really nice in the evening and we enjoyed our experience both times sitting outside, having some food and drinks, and enjoying the view. We almost certainly would not eat there if we had to sit inside.

It's funny reading through this thread. Honestly we love Disney but we just really aren't fans of eating out. When our kids were young we went for the character interaction but that's a non-issue now. My husband and I did go to Chef MIckey's on anniversary trip because we wanted the characters. The food was blah, characters were great, so we had a good time. For the most part we stick with QS. The prices are reasonable, it's quick and then we aren't as disappointed if the food isn't the best.

We've yet to try any of the signature dining experiences and honestly I doubt we will.
The first few times we went to Disney (many years ago when our kids were actual kids) we only ate counter service and that was fine with us. As we've grown older, our touring and dining habits have changed. We no longer feel like we have to spend all day at the parks (and don't), and like to have what is usually a more relaxing table service meal as opposed to quick service, even if the food doesn't always meet expectations. Despite my complaints about the Disney food, we've actually had some pretty good meals there, both table service and quick service.

Sanaa.. The bread service was great but the entrees were not very good for the price. We didnt have the views of the animals to enhance the dinner. (refurb)

Ohana- went in 2012. Waited 45 minutes, food wasn’t very good, service was slow.

Chef Mickey- we went multiple times but the service in 2017 was so bad I refuse to go back.

Oga’s Cantina- incredibly loud, couldn’t look around, drinks weren’t that good for the cost.

Cinderella’s royal table- one and done for me. The food was good but not worth the money. Nothing was wrong with it, but it’s not something I plan to do again.

Garden Grill. We had a terrible experience with both our waiter (who was rude and messed up our order) and the food. We are gluten free and our waiter brought us gluten free and vegan food. We wanted turkey. She placed the blame on us even though we never told her we were vegan. She also didn't bring us a lot of food and didn't tell us it was family style. She also demanded a tip when we didn't give her one due to her rudeness. We called Disney afterwards and luckily they were able to refund us the dining credits, which was nice. However, it was our first dining experience of the trip and was a real bummer. The food made us sick and we didn't even like it. However, The Royal Table breakfast made up for it!

Well this thread is making me reconsider Le Cellier for sure! Almost universally disliked.

For me my never again is O’hana. The steak is inedible, everything else is so salty, and last time I got horrible food poisoning and missed a day in the parks. Done, done, and done.

We aren’t in a hurry to return to CRT either. Overpriced, bland food, and rude service.

Garden Grill has been our favorite place. So your comment is kinda confusing. Your gluten free , did you state this on the reservation when you made it? Depending on the menu gluten free can be quiet hard on Family style meal. Also how could you not know it was family style? If the waiter was rude that's one thing but to not do any research is another. You can get as much food as you like at GG so if you missed the turkey (if it was on the menu) they could quickly bring you some) the issue is if you never said you were gluten free they would be cooking everything to order but even than the kitchen would have gluten on the stove and such.

So if you have Celiac's of course it made you sick. Most places that offer gluten free do not use fresh clean areas free from all gluten.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience but I feel yours was kind on both party's. If the waiter was rude due to the request that's way out of character for Disney. If you blindsided them with gluten free and complained due to lack of options... Than that's another. The turkey is prolly cooked with gluten items thus not making it gluten free anymore.

Yes, I did state that we were gluten free on the reservation so we did not "blindside" them. I did plenty of research beforehand and told the host and our server. I knew that it was family style, but our waiter never told us it was. She did not ask if we wanted more and rushed us throughout the entire process. She also never showed us the menu since she assumed that we were vegan and gluten free. She just said she'd have the chef make something for us since she didn't know what we could have. Due to my research beforehand, I knew there was turkey on the menu so we were confused when we were just brought a plate that we didn't request. We literally didn't get to tell the waiter what we wanted since she somehow thought that we were both vegan and gluten free, but we are just gluten free.
Please don't assume that as a celiac person I don't know what I'm doing. My family and I spend a lot of time researching where to eat at Disney since we don't want to be sick on our vacation. Hence, we ALWAYS mark on our online reservation that we have an allergy and make sure to tell our server first thing. We give the server and hostess a heads up as well when we first meet them just to make sure everyone is on the same page.
I get that you like Garden Grill, but please realize that those with allergies often have different experiences and please do be more understanding in the future before attacking my post saying it was my fault without realizing the entire situation. Quite honestly, I found this post hurtful saying that I didn't plan for my allergy and that it was my fault I got sick on my vacation when I made my reservation 180 days in advance.

TORTUGA TAVERN - Ordered 3 hot dog meals and 3 drinks. Hot dogs were the regular size dogs and the chips were a small bag of lays potato chips. $57. Had to check the receipt to make sure that the order was right. Never again. (I think prices have come down a little there, but I won't go because of principal)
Coral Reef - Been several times, never been impressed.
LeCellier - Food was good, just not THAT good for the price.
Chef Mickey's - Food is okay for breakfast, but the last 2 tables we've sat at had ripped up booth seats. Kind of tacky for the price.

I'm super surprised since it was on the reservation the chef didn't come out to talk with you. That's is a major bad on Disney. I have a simple sulfa allergy and they always send someone to chat with me to make sure on items. I hope the waiter was retrained.

I put on a reservation once that I was intolerant to beef. I got an email before hand asking for more details, then at the place (Spirit of Aloha) so many people came to talk to me that by the time the 4th person came up and asked we just laughed. Turns out Spirit of Aloha doesn't even have any beef on their menu.

Hollywood & Vine for us. Went twice.... Same as both visits. characters were good but definately not worth it in our eyes for the food quality and taste. Left very disappointed. Tried again in case it was a fluke the first time. Luckily Characters were good.

Pecos Bills we tried last year...never again..nope
I am curious who has tried BOG dinner..seems a lot of breakfast and lunch goers hate it. I have not been since changed to Pre fixe but we enjoyed brunch and dinner there 2017.

See my previous post #244 above. BOG isn't as good as it once was at dinner.
