The key factor is them being in the park before it opens. If they are trying for a group right at official park opening, they should have no problem scoring a regular group or backup that is low enough they will most likely ride.

I'm referencing this again to calm some anxiety. My experiences were 93, 60 and 100. Two were early backup groups. Being solo is harder than having multiple phones trying. I rode all 3 times.if you are there before it opens, you will ride unless crazy stuff happens. And stuff happens in life. Yesterday I wanted to ride Everest so much but it was down until noon. I had to leave to get to the airport. Oh well, still an amazing trip!

I was up getting ready for work this am, so after I practiced right at 7:00 (I had to go back and forth between find out more and my status before join boarding group became clickable) I showed my 10 and 6 yr olds what to do so they can also try to get a group when our day comes next Wednesday. It will be funny if the 6 yr old ends up getting it.

I’m a little surprised backups are still open.
“ I feel like a failure. I deselected people I meant to select”....that’s exactly why I’m taking anyone off my list that isn’t in our group the days we go. I’d do the same thing! I’ve done it more times than I can count making FP’s.

Can someone explain how you "take someone off your list"? Do you mean unfriend them? Then you would have to email them again, etc to get them back on your list?

I have been practising from home for my April trip but I am thinking that it will probably be a different process by then, what do you think? Fastpass, regular line, same process?

Question about selecting all in party for BG.

I am thinking I'm going to remove everyone not going with us in March, there are 6 not going. (IF BG situation stays as is)

My question is what about the little ones who will be with us? Can I do "Select all" even tho one is under 3, so no ticket, no scan, and the 3 yr old wont be tall enough to ride-?
Or will I still need to select only those riding?

That’s a good question. The 2 extras that won’t be with us are both 2, when I practice i’ve always been selecting the 3 others that will be with us and not selecting them. I wonder if they would be fine to just select all since they are 2? I’m not going to mess with it though, it’s not hard to click the bottom 3 people, and I don’t need an unknown to mess it up. Just an interesting thought.

Yes. We were BG4 but wanted to do some early morning touring and had an 8am SDD FP. Seems like they have the whole outdoor queue full so uhhh good job calling back the BGs too fast today Disney

I had to actually call Disney to get someone taken off my list. I assume they mean your "friends and family list" that you have in your planning party in MDE.

I think they ran through all the groups again yesterday. Perhaps they’re giving out a few more.

One thing I will say about today that calms me a bit is even though it went to backups at 7:02 it felt like an eternity in the scheme of how things, so barring a connection/app failure it does seem like it should be enough time to grab a BG if you are in the park. (she says, hopefully, knowing how unlikely she is to get her whole family to walk over to HS at 6AM in the dark...)

You can now do most on the app
Go to profile
go to Family and Friends list
click on the name of someone you want to remove and hit remove from my list
I have been able to take 5 people off and one that won't let me, fr whatever reason. So it's worth the try from home on the app

I'm practicing from home for our trip in 12 days and the red button didn't light up until 7:01am. I hope I have better luck when I'm there!

We are at 23 at 9am, any guess when 99 would be called? I have 1:50pm ogas, 3:30 droids and 5:05 light saber reservations. I'm thinking we should try to do our droids and lightsabers earlier?
