Looks like back ups were gone by 8:01:24! Might have been earlier.

Right around 28 seconds again for regular BG's.

I had a clickable button once and then it was gone so for me it appeared that all groups were gone in less than that time.

Did I see this morning right? Gone in about 20 seconds??????

That‘s what it was for me. I went through one test and when I went back to the home screen to try again it was already on backup.

Practiced successfully from home today. I didn't get a red button right away but when I clicked my status was able to join. I was able to walk the process through 3 times before all BG's were gone.

Yes, I think so (read the comment wrong, and typed "no" sorry!). I never was able to join at all (from home, using Verizon data) when I opened the app at 7:59 (and some seconds- didn't track), clicked "find out more" at 8 on the button and no ability showed for me to select a BG with my name until just shy of 8:01 and by then all was gone.

Woohoo boarding group 16!!!!! And DH who has the slowest iPhone (iPhone SE) and is the worst at technology in our family was the first to get join boarding group. We all tapped into app at 7:59:55.

I was able to practice and go through 7 times before the button disappeared for me shortly after 8:01.

That‘s what it was for me. I went through one test and when I went back to the home screen to try again it was already on backup.

Practicing from home after one attempt I got that it was closed to those not in boarding groups. This was at 8:00:45. However it was still clickable for like another 30 seconds.

If the first BG today is 7, then we will have two days of 41 regular BGs. This would continue our pattern. Oh the dread......

I’ve never gotten the button to go red/clickable and then become gray/unclickable before for anything other than the BGs being gone but maybe that’s what happen to me this morning. Glad there were backups available but I apparently couldn’t see or get to them.

Practice from home went smoothly. The app is so unpredictable.

I had the app open at 7:57 and at 8:00:01 I pressed “find out more”. Went to next page and was surprised as it was the first time in all my practices the “join a boarding group” was live. Usually at this time I have to select “My Status”.

It took 10 seconds for the whole process from pressing “find out more” to the point where it says I can’t go any further because not all in my party are in the park. I wonder what BG I would have gotten for 10 seconds after 8?

Lol, they're working towards no main groups. Well groups they are obliged to compensate anyway.

Did you try clicking My Status or wait for join a boarding group to turn red?

I always go straight to "my status" if the join BG button is greyed out.

Almost the same for me—my Verizon data speed this morning was terrible (from home) so I couldn’t get a response from either My Status or Join. Force closed the app/restarted and seemed to get through for a backup at 8:00:40ish. I would have taken a screenshot if I had been in the park.

I find it pretty worrisome that even the backup groups are now gone within a minute.... When I was here a few weeks ago and was worried that the regular BGs were gone within a minute, I was told not to worry, there are always backup groups to get. Now the backup groups seem to be gone within a minute as well - am I allowed to worry now?

Seriously, this is just madness! If you are there for a day only and do not have a fast phone, connection, whatever and luck out, what do you do then? I have to rely on wifi as my data plan is from out of country and does not cover the US Genuinly worried really as I do not know how I would explain to my Star Wars crazy son we cannot ride if we don't get a boarding pass because mommy's fingers weren't fast enough

Exactly my thoughts. I am travelling from Germany and I only have one day. Really worrying about not getting onto the ride.

Actually, in thinking about it, yes. I’ve had a theory for a while that the backups are on a different server. When the main BGs (I think in several different servers) run out, people are switched to the backup server. I haven’t seen any evidence of there being backups (for me) for several days now so I wonder if for some reason I’m not getting routed to that server anymore. I don’t get text that says backups and I don’t get the pop up box.
