Do you think they know that the ride will have a bad day ahead of time and give out less boarding groups? Not sure how they can tell?

I could be wrong, but I think lower BG #'s typically follow a bad day where recovery fastpasses are given out at days end.

Was about to sit down on TSMM when our group was called at 8:15. One hour return window. My husband is with the babies while I am in line. Hes gonna have to get a rider swap.

you can always practice Disneyland time, just download the app for DL and it's the same process (if it's a time issue)

Except on the Disneyland app, I never see Family and Friends list, so I don't get to practice clicking "Select All"

(Just mentioning this in case someone practices only on Disneyland app and then might get thrown for a loop when they are doing it for real at WDW)

I am so over the last two days. I hope we don't see those again.
Today looks promising. No weird bugs like F&F not showing, People not in the park getting BGs.
Also BGs lasted longer. Hopefully everyone in the park has fun and no breakdowns!

(Just mentioning this in case someone practices only on Disneyland app and then might get thrown for a loop when they are doing it for real at WDW)

it's the opposite there. you have everyone selected I believe and you have to unselect for people not with you.

Could someone please tell me, if you have tapped into the park and are waiting to access a boarding group, do you have to be in the SWGE area, or can you be anywhere in the park when you try for a boarding group? For instance, could I be over at Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad and still attempt to snag a boarding group?

You just need to be in the park. I've read some places in the park have better WiFi than others. But you will need to search the board for that info.

You can be anywhere in the park. In fact, you can also tap into the park, leave the park, and still get a boarding group.

We will be there next week and I am really relieved to see that backups lasted until 8:27am this morning. I hope that keeps up while we are there.

You just need to be in the park. I've read some places in the park have better WiFi than others. But you will need to search the board for that info.

You don't even have to be in the park.
after you tap in, you can just go anywhere, even to a different park.

A heads up for those going March 3rd. I've just been told that members of the media event for MMRR will have RotR bg pre booked already. Now the event is on a smaller size, I'm guessing maybe 200 media members, so it'll account for maybe 2 bg, but wanted to share the info just so you are aware
Also the media won't show up until after noon, the first part of the event is a sneak peek of Drawn to Life at DS until 11:30am
ETA: preemptive message to not derail the conversations into the "influencers" and what they get, etc.

Super. That’s our day. We were planning to rope drop MFSR and arrive around 6:15 or so.

That is correct. It is interesting to learn that we're not synced up with regard to that part of the process.

in the great scheme of things 200 people isn't a lot considering there are about 15k at park opening, it was just more of a heads up if you see people with media tags going the fp route
