Are you all more inclined to purchase park hoppers for upcoming trips?

We always buy hoppers, even if I never use them (which we do). I hate feeling limited in what I can do on vacation. Just the fact that I couldn't go to Epcot for lunch after visiting HS in the morning would bug me to no end. We heavily use our hoppers though, last trip we visited all 4 parks one day. We generally end each night at MK though

We always have hoppers because of the flexibility. Staying at resorts with quick access to parks like we do makes it a no brainer. I would say it’s even mandatory if I want decent QS around Crescent Lake.

We always have hoppers, but I am already warning Micky (and my brother if he comes) we are NOT trying to get a boarding group each morning! IF we don't get on, we don't get on! :D

Maybe by spring 2021 things will be different...or worse....

We're on the same page. We always get park hoppers because we always visit during peak times (Christmas Week and/or Spring Break) and will rope drop at one park and end our days at another. We are planning one morning at DHS and hopefully we will get a boarding group that will allow us to ride and still keep our dinner reservations at Wine Bar George. We will make that call when we get there. If we get to ride it will be great but, if not, oh well ... maybe next time!

I think this answer will vary on who you talk to. We didn’t have hoppers and we were just fine. We went in January so we knew park hours would be shorter, so parkhopping wouldn’t be as efficient.

We weren't going to get park hoppers specifically because so many folks online have said it's not worth it. However, we changed our minds and ended up adding them because we want a little flexibility. We've got a couple days that could switch between DHS and Epcot depending on if we get a BG at Rise, and we have an extra MK day that we may not need depending on how many things we're able to do earlier in the trip. The additional comfort/flexibility made it worth it, to us at least.

Our rule of thumb is we get hoppers for longer trips to give us more flexibility, but if we only have 4 or 5 park days, we just get one-park per day tickets. Either one day at each park for 4 days, or for 5 days - with 2 days at the MK.

Although, We got APs last year, so that probably spoiled us to having hoppers! Lol
I'm kinda the opposite-ish, though it's different. If my trip is 3 days or less, I will get hoppers so I can go to all the parks. If its 4 days or more, no hoppers. Even with an AP I do not hop on longer trips. I dont take breaks and ther is way more than enough in each park for a full day.

They’ve turned Disney into a job rather than a vacation With all these FPS, boarding gps, this, that nonsense.

Our next trip will be the shortest we've taken to WDW (3 days vs. the 7+ we've done in the past) and we're getting hoppers for the first time ever. We're planning on rope dropping HS every morning (yes we're crazy) and then heading over to Epcot for F&G in the afternoons. Depending on how things go (and crowd levels) we may even hit MK. The skyliner has given us so much flexibility in getting around that I finally felt they were worth the cost.

I am very much pro-park hopper. I have an AP currently so thats built in. Even if I didn't I would get a hopper. Having that flexibility is something I really like. I may not hop every day but I normally do. I also frequent runDisney race weekends where I may just go to MK in the morning after a race for a photo and then off to a different park.

SWGE makes us more inclined to get hoppers. Not because we want to try for a BG every morning, but because there is a good chance that the crowds at DHS would make us want to leave after doing our park favorites (ToT, RnRC, Sci-Fi, Midway Mania).

We always get them, this year/next year we will be on an AP, so it doesn't matter, but I love being able to go to one park in the morning and another in the afternoon.

We got hoppers for our upcoming trip. More chances at ROTR. Plus i cant see using my 3 fastpasses at Epcot. Rather get FOP, SDD, etc... then hop to Epcot and grab Soarin or Test track with my 4th or 5th fastpass.

Love park hoppers. We love to eat at Epcot a lot so we will always hop back there for meals. I also like using it to visit any park with late hours. Also we often to a "brunch' somewhere and hop to whatever park strikes our fancy

We used to stay at Beach Club so that we could walk to WS for dinner after going to the other parks. That is a great reason to have hoppers.

Since I take about a week-long trip, I'm comfortable with just doing base tickets and doing a park a day.

That said, I do see the benefit. I had hopper on my last trip. One of my favorite day was hitting AK for MEMH. Park was pretty much dead for that first hour aside from FOP. Then after our FOP fastpass, we headed to EPCOT for some Holiday Booth eats (great use of snack credits) and an ice cream martini. We closed the night out with Living WIth The Land with the new Christmas overlay.

We have been going since the early 80s when my son was just shy of 3 and there were only two parks. We had hoppers then and have never been without them since. I had APs for about 4 years in a row but didn't get them when my last one expired because of the huge rise in price. We've been back twice since then but not in the same year and still bought hoppers. We are non-planners, I'm talking no FPs any further in advance than the night before and no ADRs any further in advance than afternoon of (with the exception of tea at the GF because that is impossible to get day of).

I always get the park hopper, but was considering not getting it this time for my grandsons (I have an AP). But I think that with crowds at DHS, and unpredictable BG results, that hopping is the best strategy.

i personally would not buy hoppers just for the purpose of trying to get a boarding group and then being able to go to another park for the day! Clever plan for Disney to make you enter one park to get a boarding group for apparently the best ride ever, and then make you stay in that park all day or require you to have a PH to go to another park! We are going in November and have a morning set aside to try for the boarding group, we would love to ride, but if we get one, awesome, but if we don’t, I guess we will ride it next time! I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that will buy PH just for this specifically, but we won’t be one of them! We do have hoppers for this trip but only because my daughter will be there for only 3days and then I’m solo, but to be able to hit all the parks we need hoppers for her timeframe! A friend of ours is going in October without PH and she is already stressing over this exact issue!
