May 2021

Sapphire we may be with you. This May obviously isnt looking good. We are debating between November and next May. It sounds like a lot of people who are cancelling now are looking at November. So May 2021 might be best.

If anyone wants me to copy my first post from the May 2020 thread and start a new one for 2021, just let me know! :rotfl: Or you can go ahead and use it in this one!

Technically we arrive in April, but mostly there in May.

No plans set in stone yet, but hoping to do a large extended family WDW trip in May or June 2021 for my 21st birthday! 🥳 :drinking1

I have cancelled our May trip as well and we are in between booking May 21 or Oct 21..

We started a new May 2021 thread that I am very happy to keep updating! Come on over if you end up going then and let's cheer each other up! :)

I haven’t cancelled May yet- the 10th-17th- because I haven’t the heart to.

This was to be an Easter surprise for my two grandsons. I bought two disney kids guidebooks, swimsuits and swim shirts, got the special magicbands, and this was to go in their Easter baskets on Sunday. I saved the last two cards from Mickey from my own visits with friends, and was going to give each of them a card from Mickey also.

I picked new dates for August, but August is not great for them (they are not very heat tolerant at all, coming from the Northwoods).

The biggest let down for me is that I got a complimentary upgrade to Beach Club for one night, the Florida resident “discover Disney tickets” for them (I have an AP and live in Florida October-April). The other five nights were a great AP rate at AK.

I normally can’t afford any of those things- tickets, Beach Club, AK. :(
Disney will always be there, but they currently are 6 and 9, so still kids and the complimentary upgrade and reasonable AK prices made this doable. I have no idea what will come out of all of this.

Maybe they can come with their mom in December and visit me in Florida over Christmas/New Years and can use their flight tickets for that.

We are now May 9-16, 2021 at Caribbean Beach Resort - sad we aren't leaving in 11 days but excited to know next year this time we will be leaving in 10 days! :)
