What are 3 of your family's favorite card or board games?

If you have never played, you don’t know what you’re missing. Order it up.

Scattegories
Concept
and my teens love Speak Out, me...not so much - too much drooling! lol
I prefer Bounce instead of Speak Out.

I miss people who know how to play Euchre! That's definitely my all time favorite game to play with a normal deck of cards.

I miss Euchre too! The only time I really get to play anymore is with my family at the holidays. DH doesn't know how to play, nor does he care to learn. 😒

I remember my folks playing that with their friends when I was a kid! The families would get together for dinner, and then the adults would play cards and all the various kids had the run of the rest of the house. Great memories!

To the original question, probably:
Monopoly
Left, Right, Center
Scattergories

That was similar to my childhood, only it was cousins! We took control of the house doing crazy shenanigans and parents would play cards. Every once in a while we would get too out of control and the hammer would be put down. lol

Wow, it all just came back. Thanks @PollyannaMom for the great trip down memory lane. 😊

Kids like a lot of them.
Yesterday played Harry Potter-Clue. it's a great take on the classic game
lots of dice games (left , right, center ; deer in the headlights, Yahtzee)
Munchkin
Talisman
Kids love Apples to Apples...I do too, but man, it usually devolves into some sort of argument...
Have wanted to try Catan, but just haven't yet .may go ahead and get it.

Growing up, I enjoyed playing Uno, Yahtzee, and Monopoly.

Currently, we like to play Ticket to Ride, Catan, and Betrayal at House on the Hill.

Unfortunately we can't play the games with my husband's family but if we were able to it'd be

Mexican Train (domino)
Phase 10 (card)--don't play this nearly as much as we used to because Mexican Train took over as the main game
Uno Flip (card)--this one is newer to us but we've enjoyed it

With my husband and I we can play sequence, sorry and clue enough but my husband has never been one to really really enjoy games so it's just not the same as when we all get to play with his family.

In my last two years of college I used to play Rummy with my roommates and my husband would join in as well.

Growing up my mom's side of the family the game was Farkle (similar to Yahtzee). My grandpa used to make his own triangle shaped playing boards (with pool table felt and leather) and his own up dice throwing cup (a cup with pool table felt and leather as well). I still have a set he made, it's actually the last one he made. We'd play for money (just change) most of the time and the adults would always give my sister and I a bit of change to start off with.

Carcassonne is a great family game that grade schoolers can easily play.
Ticket to Ride is also fun.
Game of Thrones Risk
I’ve heard good things about Disney Villians but can’t find it anywhere

Thanks Cynner for the Euchre explanation :)

For those who have mentioned Yahtzee, I remember it came in a red box and was fun, used dice but admit to not recalling how you play. Off to Google it :)

Younger kids at church camps in the afternoons like Memory especially with cute things to match. I have seen a Disney version.

Here's some oldies: Score Four (like vertical tic tac toe stacking beads on vertical posts)
Flinch -- easy card came that teaches numerical sequencing

one I hate -- the card game Hearts. It's really heartless and I refuse to play it any more.
