*** Official June 2020 ***

With the announcement of no new reservations for June, there were 2 schools of thought: June reservations are the next to be axed (bad news) OR this was done to keep within the Phases of 50% or 75% capacity (good news!) With reservations for Droid Depot and Savi's (the ONLY thing DS18 had on his must do list this trip) were canceled...uh oh...and VAH was canceled - VAH was the perfect way to keep crowds low, so that can only mean one thing, right? If anyone has a positive in this for June, please let me know. Somber morning as our hopes fade and we watch it snow here in Maine.

I have a reservation for the first week in June. Since it looks like I have a better chance at getting struck by lightning than getting in to Disney, I will be looking at moving my trip. For me, it looks like either August or November/December for rebooking. August would be ideal for birthdays but I don’t want to wear a mask in 110 degree weather. November/December would be lovely to see the Christmas decor and the milder weather. But, it will require us to take kids out of school and could put us at the peak of cold/flu season. What are other’s thoughts on rescheduling? I’ve already paid for tickets so I need to book before December 15th.

I'm later in June, so still going to wait it out, though it's not looking good. I am a school principal, so summer is really my only chance, and it has to be before August. We may consider Thanksgiving, but I worry about crowds.

I can see your predicament as August would be my pick( we are rescheduled for Sept) but what state the parks are in and the whole mask thing will make us not go in Sept if things haven't gone to some semblance of normal by then. Taking the kids out of school isn't ideal either and Dec. is heading back into flu season again. I dont know what your financial situation is but we also booked a room only for next May in case Sept doesn't work out because the tickets(when Disney downloads the 2021 calendar) can be changed online easily for next year before 12/15. Once they become expired, you have to call to change them. But since the calendar is usually out by fall, next year should be bookable online before 12/15. Yes, you would have to pay whatever, hopefully small, difference there may be, but just a thought to consider.

When were your reservations because I have a droid reservation in june and it's still there?

Well, I just emailed our Dreams agent and asked her to look at new dates for us. This was going to be our 30th anniversary trip. We honeymooned at the Contemporary and we had planned to go back there for our 30th anniversary. Instead, we have a pandemic, my husband had a heart attack last week and got 2 stents put in, and he is having another stent put in on 5/22. AND....we have been looking for a new house for a year and last weekend we found the perfect house, put in an offer, and will be closing around June 1st. So our anniversary trip to the Contemporary June 5-9 is going to be pushed back a few months. Also, wearing masks in 90-100 degree weather in Florida doesn't sound very magical.

Well, to cover all the bases I just booked Beach Club for the first week of August- even if WDW is opened end of June I don't see them holding even a small conference like ours. I would hope they would honor our room reservations/conference tickets for those who wanted to go on even without the conference, but at this point who knows? This way, all will not be l ost-

I gave up and moved to July. I really wanted to hold out until the end, but there was only one week in July that works for us, so I had to switch by Tuesday in order to hit my fastpass window. I just don’t see how it can open June 1st with them taking the ADR and Fastpasses down. And to be honest, I think it will be utter chaos the first day no matter when they open. It sucks because I lost an upgrade and the free dining to move.

I can still make Fastpasses for my trip starting June 13, as well, just not ADRs. It doesn’t mean they won’t disappear later, but geez I just wish Disney would be consistent and/or make some kind of announcement. There is so much confusion out there.

I went ahead and rebooked for August. Pickins were slim for DVC studios so I was able to get Bay Lake and Old Key West. It was painful to cancel our Fastpasses but I will try again at our 60 day window next month. I was able to get all of same dining reservations. American Airlines told me that I can reschedule without penalty because of the COVID-19 situation. I hope everything works out for everyone.
We cancelled the family trip from June to December and when I rebooked there were NO 2 brs at CCV so I had to wait list them - BUT I was given the super smart advice to keep checking my dates for cancellations and in one weekend I was able to book 3 random nights of our 6 night reservation and then this past weekend I got the other 3 nights and since they were the same room type I called DVC MS and they combined them into ONE reservation.

So, I'll pass on the same advice - if you want one resort instead of two, then keep checking for openings and you can have 2 wait lists and what worked for us! And our 7 month window wasn't for another week and I still got our home resort (CCV) IT CAN HAPPEN!!!

We were scheduled for June 14-20, but decided to move our reservation to July 12-18. Closures were getting too close for comfort, so decided to change it ourselves. Hope everyones vacation happens for them as well.

obviously our June 12 day WDW vacation is cancelled sadly, but we are opting to just wait for next summer. We could have done Aug but I feel like even if they are opened it will be modified in many ways and I am not really interested in a modified experience for the process we pay. What is everyones feelings about a modified experience (whatever that means)...for us, it is to just wait until there is more normalcy

Good luck June peeps! We are officially rebooked for November. Hopefully, things will have improved by then. At least it won't be blazing hot if we have to wears masks in November.

We are booked for June 10 at Pop. We have flights booked from June 10-16, I’m thinking of keeping those and just renting a place at Windsor Hills for the week, one with its own pool. I’m not going to keep rescheduling Disney just to have to keep changing it again. We’ve already had a cruise canceled and the kids are so disappointed. I think they’d have a blast staying at WH with a trip to Disney springs & a beach day thrown in.

Does anyone local know if pools at facilities at rental properties are up and running?

Well, pity party for one and everyone is invited! We officially pulled the plug on June 19-30 today. Well, actually- Westjet cancelled our flights so we really didn’t have the choice to continue waiting it out :(.

I’m crossing fingers, toes, and ears for all of you remaining June people!

I have a June Reservation into July... 6/27-7/10, two people staying at POP. I think I am pretty desperate at this point to just get a break from work and get out of the house... so if they are open, I will probably go and just listen to the Disney music in the room while eating Sprinkles cupcakes.

I'm hanging on to my reservation, but I'm feeling pretty hopeless at this point that they'll be open. This is exactly what they did with May reservations, so I don't really see any signs that they're not just going to cancel week to week for June. I have a July reservation as a backup, but I'm having serious doubts about that one as well.

After insisting for weeks that we were going anyway in June, my hubby finally decided it was time to pull the plug. He's going to be furloughed and our governor said the virus won't peak here until mid-June now. I'm about to cancel some good DHS FP for June 18 if anyone wants them: TSMM and MFSR evening times!
