My CIP AP just hit. I will probably downgrade it to a CIU or a CIC. When DH's CIP hits, I will downgrade to the other. I will keep one CIP. That's the plan anyway.

It initially says they're closed, so keep pushing buttons until you find the right one. DH downgrade his CSR to CSP. Today there is a $450 credit on his account. The AF posted 2/1 (and obviously we have paid it by now). The credit is backdated to 2/1 also.

Funny, we were talking about Hawaii last night too. I was actually browsing Zillow, looking at condos. My life is so different now, not working a regular FT job and focusing on my writing... and I have decided that I want to focus on getting a remote or remote contract job when I am ready to return to work. I do not want to be tied down to an office or one location anymore. DH is also ready to investigate how he can make his job fully remote. Things in the world are so influx, so probably nothing will happen soon, but there are silver linings from this pandemic: more family time, less running around, more money saved and less consumption giving Mother Earth a break and #1 for me: clarity on how I want to spend my working life.

I can't wait to get back to Hawaii - our favorite place in the world. Grand Hyatt Kauai is my favorite resort, ever! That said, I do not want to fly there wearing a mask for 9 hours and not getting a cup of water, ugh!

The Hula Pie is seriously amazing! We have been to a few of the other Duke's now....Malibu, Huntington Beach and Maui...gotta get that pie whenever we can, lol.

Your dream of relocating and working remotely sounds great. I would totally do that, but DH would never go for it. Hope you can get back to the Grand Hyatt Kauai soon!

Can I still call the Chase UR cruise line to book Universal Orlando hotels? Are they able to apply AP or Military discounts to the bookings?

My dec and feb they couldn’t apply it. It was cheaper to do the ap rate and cash out ur to cover it.

Our favorite resort in the DR is offering vouchers for a ridicously low price, DH and I are trying to decide if we pull the trigger or not. The only time we could use it would Thanksgiving break since Christmas is HI and Spring Break 2021 is hopefully a redo of our missed cruise and the voucher expires on 5/31/21. Now that DS will be starting HS (that still seems surreal), pulling for vacations is not an option. Virtual learning has been no joke at his school and much more demanding than when he was in the classroom. It feels like since the teachers know they can’t go anywhere, they are just piling on the assignments.

The Terms for the Amex Platinum wireless phonecredt explicitly says it does not apply to bundled services like AT&T U-verse. I can confirm. We were both DirecTV customers and AT&T before their merger and still are. Our monthly fee shows up as AT&T U-Verse and I got no credit. If anybody is aware of work around to trigger the credit please advise. I'm pretty sure AT&T does not sell GCs online. It's annoying because the mobile-only portion of our bill is obviously large enough to use the full credit, but I get nothing. FWIW subscribing to both is worth a $10 monthly discount.

I have the Spotify premium family plan charged to my SW card every month. I am not showing any refunds. It must be the Freedom Unlimited or something you signed up for. Let us know if you figure it out!

Quick question! I applied for and received an AMEX gold Delta card in early January. I met the $2000 MSR and received the bonus. I now will have a refund coming on that card which will make me fall under that MSR threshold. I am worried about a clawback of the bonus. Will I be ok if I just use the card for some additional spending?
