Let's talk about Donald on TV next:

Walt Disney Presents : The Donald Duck Story (1954)
Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Donald Duck, the most irascible character to emerge from the Walt Disney cartoon factory, made his official TV debut on this early episode of the Disneyland anthology series. Using a "scrapbook" format, the episode traces the life and career of Donald from his inauspicious screen debut as a bit player in the 1934 "Silly Symphony" The Wise Little Hen, through his costarring stints in the vehicles of Mickey Mouse, and concluding with his own starring cartoon series, where he somewhat unwillingly shared screen time with his sweetheart Daisy Duck and his lookalike nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Refusing to let host Walt Disney do all the talking, Donald invades Walt's office to remind him who the "star of the show" really is, and also has a run-in with Clarence Nash, the man who supplied Donald's voice (and quacks!) for nearly half a century. "The Donald Duck Story" proved popular enough to be rebroadcast twice during Disneyland's inaugural season.

5/23 101mins - went for my beach walk, did my strength training and also did a couple of classes on my bike
5/24 (edited to fix this date) 117 - got two long walks in today and did 35 mins of strength training

1900/1600 - I am shocked I’ve surpassed my goal by this much, now if my body could only catch up and show some results from all this effort I’d appreciate it 😝

What? Donald Duck had a family tree? Who knew! What a cool resource. Thank you, @PollyannaMom!

My updates;
Fri, 5/22: 189 minutes
Sat, 5/23: 177 minutes
Sun, 5/24: 151 minutes
Mon, 5/25: 161 minutes
Totals through 5/25: 4131/3500 minutes

As always, mostly horsey chores. I’m working to carefully move Big Sr from “mostly hay, some wet feed” to the opposite, “nearly all wet feed.” This is a transition over a couple weeks time to allow his system a chance to adapt.

Did very little yardwork over the weekend but DH and I tackled a storage shed on the property. Cleaned it, went through stuff ... set four large bins for shredding in his truck and filled a rolloff (dumpster) with stuff to throw out. We were both sooooo dirty after that task. Showers felt great! Whee!

@Twilight Sparkle , Planks? I'm impressed! :)

Have you ever tried a Balance Rider Core trainer? Lots of fun; really improves and quiets your seat. I enjoy reading or using resistance training bands while sitting on mine.

Edited to add: Link to short youtube video of the Balance Rider:

Slightly longer video but with a number of different riders trying it and discussing their results:

20 minutes Saturday - in the pouring rain! We went down to the beach to get our season badges. With this crazy situation, I didn't want to get shut out for the summer. We had no idea how many would be sold, so off we went. We had to park a good way from the waterfront, and then waited on line in absolutely torrential rain. Nothing like standing out in the open holding an umbrella listening to the thunder!!!
30 minutes today - after a lazy weekend. My daughter came down for a visit - it's hard to live alone these days! So we've just been hanging out. But she was working today and I got myself out for a while.
(480/600)
Going to push to make my goal!

I remember beach season passes! In the 60s and 70s they were hard plastic chips that you had to pin to your swimwear. The rental house we visited (on repeat, every summer) on Long Beach Island (Surf City area) included them with the rental.

Your wait in line sounds miserable and worrying. Glad you are safe!

30 minutes yesterday for me, 515/600.

Congrats to BonnieF, bwvBound, and the Team!!! :Pinkbounc :jumping1::Pinkbounc

We are at 108%!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Our next topic - Donald Travels the World!

Saludos Amigos:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036326/

and The Three Caballeros:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038166/

Both of these films were the result of a goodwill tour taken by Disney employees and intended to promote friendship with our neighboring countries:

Saludos Amigos was also the first Disney film since the Alice comedies to have live and animated characters interacting with each other, a technique that continued to be used successfully over the years in such films as:

Song of the South (1946)
So Dear to My Heart (1949)
Mary Poppins (1964)
Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)
Pete’s Dragon (1977)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
