Question about Possible Implementation of Virtual Queues

Hi!

So say Disney goes the way of virtual queues with all rides - can someone explain how would that work? Would like be like ROTR and we all have to get to parks by opening to have the slightest chance to get on any of the big rides? I've not experienced this yet.

Do we think they'd figure a way to allow virtual queue booking in advance?

Do we think they'll just stick with fast pass only?

I can't imagine trying to deal with an ROTR situation for every park, every day!

:)

That would be a bad thing IMO. My nephew's DVC family has no desire to rope drop anymore. The fact that we were going to have to rope drop 4 times for HS this trip, in order to ride ROTR, was already taxing everyone's psyche.

They would have to find way to book your virtual queue ahead of time, pretty much just like fast pass. I mean, we'd never get on any of the big rides!

Well, if Disney wants to facilitate social distancing they would have to come up with something other than booking the minute you entered the park. Even MaxPass requires you get to DLR early if you want to get on the most desirable rides. There's always a big group for each of the two parks in the esplanade each morning, despite the arguably IMO "superior" day of fast pass system there. So even though I wish WDW had the Max Pass system, or something similar to the WDW old FP system, it too has it's drawbacks for our current situation.

...just when you thought you finally got it right and posted in the correct thread...
