Universal Orlando Reopened June 5th! CityWalk Reopened on May 14th

Any speculation on why UO is waiting on revealing hotel details? Do you think it has anything to do with Disney revealing 7/11 resort openings and then yanking it back today?

The onsite hotels open June 2.
Only the list of hotels that UO first listed, are bookable but more hotels will be added (based on a past statement
on their website.)

I can only guess they will open up more of their onsite hotels and allow booking

The covid 19 has changed many things.
When new info about it is released, its a lot to read and keep up with.

I have not kept current with how Disney pulled back rooms as too tied up searching out UO hotel updates.

Oh, that's good news. I had read the latest press release from 5/22 and when it mentioned hotels opening, it said details will be revealed soon.
Did I miss something?
Thank you!

The info release comes and goes which means some will maybe overlook new releases or updates.

I have not found any new info today.

I was able to book just about all of the hotels starting June 2 today if that’s any indication I could not book June 1
Yes, I've been playing around with that too. Probably wouldn't risk ticking people off by taking the ressies and then clawing them back.
Thanks!

I just received an email inviting me to sign up for the Passholder preview days June 3rd and 4th (only allowed to choose one). I'm not signing up or going, for multiple reasons, but just wanted to note that those emails are going out. It said they were staggering the invitations an hour at a time based on Passholder level (Premier passes 2 hours ago, Preferred sent an hour ago, and the Power and Seasonal Passholders' emails should be going out in about 5 minutes.

I wonder if they will have the resort pools open. . .I would assume so since VB is open, but haven't seen anything yet. . .

Did I somehow miss the announcement about reserving preview days? There isn't a thread for it and I don't see it here, but it looks live on the website. When I try to reserve it, it tells me it's not available however.

According to Kenny the Pirate, reservations should have opened at noon for Premiere, 1 for preferred, and 2 for everyone else. I have preferred so I should be able to register.

I posted it in the other thread. But they basically gave no heads up.. All of a sudden at 12 they were like it's live go sign up! But so many people never got an email. I got mine about 15 minutes after registration opened. And took me about another 45 minutes before I was able to get through

So has anyone reported they are gone or are they just hung up? This reallllly irks me that they gave no heads up. I have been stalking this thread for days and it's soooo much harder to find Universal info online that Disney, where people stalk as a group together. The preview days were the only days I was wanting to go, because it likely will be much less crowded.

I get a busy signal when I try to call them. Guess i'm sol.

Most of the hotels are opening June 2nd. Portofino and dockside (the brand new one that ALMOST opened right in March) are the only ones not.

I’ve been following the Rumors board only and realized it would be helpful to scroll down to the Universal Board to ask these questions. 😊

Does anyone know if the express pass is available as a perk at the 3 main resorts when they open? This may have been answered so apologies. I can’t decide if I should book Hard Rock or Sapphire Falls, but the family decided to go next week and I don’t want to be surprised. Also, I read that the resort guests would have advance access, does that mean on the 2nd when they open? I am not an AP or Cast member.

I can book the resort package with the tickets starting on the 2nd. It’s such a short notice trip with practically zero planning.

I think some of the answers to those questions can be found here: https://www.universalorlando.com/we...requently-asked-questions#hotels-and-packages
