New TV , yes or no?

They are ACTUALLY asking for a way BACK to the Chevy/GM world.
A "way back" implies we would have actually owned a GM product before. I can safely say nadda, zip, nope, never, zilch, zero... and the list goes on.

I think you might be disappointed at the 110v outlet in the back. I dont have the numbers in front of me but my recollection was that its not a lot. More suited for charging tool batteries etc, plus the truck has to be running for it to be on. The TV ad shows them powering 3 light posts, the power to light 3 LED's is pretty small.

I hope its better then that, i thought they upgraded it. But who knows. I will report back when i try it out in a day or so.

The cable size required to get from the underhood to the rear and provide any real AMPs is substantial. I installed quite a few in trucks at work.

Not in the English vernacular, Teamubr.

"way back" does not imply "ownership". It's a look into the very heart of every truck driver. The regret .... the denial ..... the heartache .... the ability to make a change <or not>.

But the longing in your voice, the heartfelt angst in your post, is enough. <we all hear it>

It's okay, though. We won't tell anybody of your change of heart. :sad2:

PS - shhhh, it's okay lil buddy. Nobody will know. Goodbye. I'm here for you.

Oh man. I can't show my hubby this post. He has had his eye on that truck for a bit. Every time one passes, he lets me know what a good looking truck it is.

Enjoy! We are toying with getting a 2500 Truck for our longer hauls but 6 in a truck is asking for a headache. WHYYYYY is a 2500 Suburban so hard to find?

Backing up is so easy to hook up the TT. It has a guide line to get you perfetly lined up and a down veiw when your close so you ball is where you want it

nice looking truck. I do like the hitch alignment camera but...when the company that took off the stock bed and put the utility body on ( not the company I work for), they didn’t mount my cameras right. My regular backup camera is upside down. I was backing down into a loading dock and my lines where pointing 20 feet in the air at the top of the roof.

My hitch alignment camera is 2 inches off center. I used a magic marker and leveled up from the center of my ball and put a mark on the bumper. When it goes in for its first service is when the shop will fix them. Other than that I love my (work) duramax.

Just came home today from promised land state park in pa. And i will say, what a diffrence over the hills, and controll on narrow roads. When going over the large grades of the Delaware water gap, instead of being passed by the 18 wheelers , i passed them. Additionally, i didnt have the TT getting sucked into the wind vortex when the trucks passed me. This may be do to the fact that i could tow faster. It was an all around good experance. And for the camera, one shot and perfect hitch up. I remembered to wait untill the truck enguaged the parking break automatically this time. So much easier then getting in and out of the TV to line it up. Was just me and my daughter whos 8 , so its always a solo hook up. Gas millage wasnt good, but better then the 1500. And on top of that, we had lots of room and i love the extra tie off spots for securing stuff. So overall , i am broker but happier. Oh , and the rear plug does suck. Have no clue what to use it for. Lol.
