@SouthFayetteFan and any others traveling into Florida, it seems like they are still stopping all cars and RVs heading into Florida on the 95 from Georgia. Below is a pic of the cars and trucks lined up this afternoon. Yikes. Perhaps if you could time a crossing late in the evening or early morning the traffic wouldn't be quite so bad. From as far as we could tell the line was well over 5 miles. Definitely approach with a full tank of gas.

@Haley R I waved to you from the highway as we passed through Melbourne. You are just under 2 hours north of where we live!

Forgive my ignorance but what does VGC stand for?

Probably visa gc, those there are vanilla gc but they are either visa or mc or maybe that bank sells both, still gc though. About the only thing bought at office supply stores that's discussed here will be gc, generally when they do the fee free on visa/mc.

CIC-DENIED. Insomnia gave me plenty of time to check my business account. Letter arrived today. Reason for denial “insufficient balance in deposit and investment accounts” Slightly disappointing, but definitely not surprised. I’ll go for a Hyatt card in the next week or so, and probably break out of 5/24 with a MDD around December. However, if this year has taught me anything it’s - expect plans to change.

I have a doordash question.... I've never used it before- do we tip the driver in cash when they drop it off? what is the etiquette? Does the CSR credit apply if we choose pickup option? thanks

FL has a 14 day quarantine for people arriving from NY, NJ and CT...they are stopping cars and advising people of it and I think handing out information

We tip the driver in the DoorDash app so we have contactless delivery

I bet it took me about 12 years also. lol I didn't post much before this thread and it is almost exactly 4 years old now! Even though I watched it from the beginning it took me awhile to join in with questions.

Yep, I was a hardcore lurker for about nine years. I think I finally made my first post about 3 years ago when I decided to buy DVC. Now I have 5 contracts. Staying a lurker may have saved me quite a bit of money.

I knew they had been stopping cars (at both borders) since late March, but I had no idea they were still doing it. It may end soon with the state opening up, but for now that's what it looks like.

I'll have to find the picture when I'm on my laptop but the lady that sat next to me and I both were. We had the seats right behind the driver on a bus where they face forward, I don't think many do. I probably posted about it here too. Anyway she told us we'd have to take over if anything happened because of where we were sitting. So we decided one would work the pedals and the other the wheel. It's when I found out that when they take their foot off the gas the brake starts to apply, or something like that, which is why some rides are so jerky, they don't coast like a car would. She gave us stickers when we got back to pop.

If you go to where you edit your profile you can change what the tag says but I think you have to earn your ears first. Not 100% on that though.
