I was scheduled for May 31,2020, and we are still trying to go August 2020, but we had also planned to take my boys to Disneyland in October 2020, and with them delaying their opening again, that just seems very unlikely to happen, so last night I went ahead and scheduled for May 30-June 4 2021 Caribbean Beach resort. It’s more dependent on things being back to normal because my boys have sensory issues and won’t wear masks very long. But after having a less than 100% trip this year, I’m anxious to get back to WDW for a normal trip.

I ended up cancelling my May reservation at WL and then booked CCV because I was not getting through on the phone. So we are now booked for CCV May 13 - 16 and I already got the park days down!

Short weekend trip - but hopefully it can happen. We are celebrating my birthday.

Another May baby! I've come to enjoy weekend trips a lot, it's a different kind of trip but still fun in their own way.

Ok I made park reservations for MK only so far, since it's always a sure thing we go there first and last. No idea about the rest. I sure do hope we can hop by May. Being so close to AK will make me want to go there in the evening.

I had rented SS DVC (trying to stay at every Disney property) for May 11-15 one week before the park reservation system was announced, and planned to add on CS the 8-11 when “deals” came out. I have an AP voucher I was going to start then. But with the one park a day and who really knows what all else might still be in effect and all the uncertainty of everything, I went ahead and added 3 nights at POP and a 5 day ticket to cover our days if things are going ok. At worst I’ll have a four night do NOTHING vacation!

I also am holding onto a solo September res that had free dining and 4 day PH at ASMu that with the changes 35% off, move to POP and likely PH removal will only cost me $700. My air is on SW points for dirt cheap and can be cancelled up until day of flight so I’ll give that thought for the next month or two and see how things are shaping up but realistically see myself cancelling.

I hope we’re able to hop by then too. We want to eat in a few places around Epcot. I booked all my days and only chose two for Epcot hoping that we’ll be able to end some days there for dinner. Usually when we have a HS day we eat at Epcot because we’re not huge fans of anything there! We got park hoppers for our trip as wishful thinking

Put us down for 4/30-05/07 at Coronado. My husband's love of mexican food was the deciding factor for our resort. lol

OkayI booked my reservation at Pop Century and added a day May 21st-June 2nd I was also able to book my park passes but it won’t let me book my DS16 passesit says he doesn’t have a valid ticket but his ticket is in my MDE? When the phones open up again I’ll straighten it out just so glad to have a reservation

I'm making reservations in a couple weeks for Brookfield Zoo!!! We can't wait to experience it with low crowds, should be amazing. Thing are looking up here and will everywhere else eventually!

So hoping we will be able to hop by next year since we are at Boardwalk which would make Epcot a breeze. Previous trips we never even used fastpass for Epcot, just hopped there all the time as it was so easy to pick up extra fastpass for any ride there.
I think i have read several posts from reliable “insiders” for what its worth that Disney really does want to bring hopping back, especially by next year although they are looking at different options, such as booking both in advance, or letting you book another one ‘day of‘ if there is availability in the one you are hopping to.
i just hope it comes back in some form or another as we who love to hop will figure out how to make it work.

For sure! I love park hopping. I would totally add it to my trip. Or I may buy AP if things all go well since we have an April trip planned as well.

I’m just hoping fireworks and some character meets can be back. Maybe they’ll magically find a vaccine By May and we won’t have to wear masks in the parks anymore either

I wouldn’t even mind booking another park in advance! I usually have all our hopping planned out (I’m a planner type lol) I know they’ll bring it back, I just hope it’s sooner rather than later. It’s such a big part of our trips and the most we can ever stay is 8 days because of my fiancé’s work so we like to do as much as possible.
We normally are AP holders but i am so glad we didn’t renew our APs in January when we were there because of all of this!
