At Orlando airport. We’ve been waiting for an hour and a half for a bus. One just came, finally. But the line is so long, the bus filled within one party of us. So we continue to stand here...3 or 4 busses have come for all other resorts but us. We are DVC and attempting to go to Kidani Village. Our line is wrapped around the area while other lines have almost no one. My advice: if you are at Kidani, Jambo, POP, or Riviera, plan an alternate way to get to your resort!

While I don't like many of the things that Disney has done in the wake of COVID, you have to expect there to be some kinks. I agree with previous posters... get an uber or Lynft. Don't start your vacation on a negative note.

After all, I Disney vacation is not cheap to begin with... what is another $50.00?

100% agree. Last visit we enjoyed the Minnie-Vans several times instead of waiting for buses. Well worth the couple extra bucks considering the time you can save. Also it was probably the cheapest bill we had while in Disney lol.

Yeah, I would have called a Lyft the moment I didn't make the first bus. Covid restrictions & scheduling are not good partners, so we all have to trudge along as best we can, and sometimes that just sucks (understatement of the year, eh?). I'd be annoyed too. Try to brush it off and get past it so you can enjoy the rest of your vacation (I'm a dweller, so I always need to remind myself of this kind of thing).

Sorry to hear this...please report on your experience at Resort / parks when you arrive. I just spent a night in Atlantic City and it was absolutely insane.

Just for clarification, MinnieVans to and from the airport are $150 flat rate, unless they've gone up. And they're also not cheap just around WDW any more either.

Wow! I see you posted this almost 45 minutes ago. Are you guys STILL waiting for the bus? I know they have to sanitize the seats, and there's limited capacity at this time, but over 2 hours is not acceptable. If you're still there, I would take a picture of your line and tweet it to @WDWGuestServices

Maybe a rental car to completely avoid Disney Xport? Again, added cost, but added convenience.

I didn’t not know cost from airport (how much could a regular Uber be?) we used them around WDW several times...a big bonus for us was the car seat they provided and the cast members driving.

I haven't checked prices lately, but you can get an estimate from RideGuru.com And, of course, before you actually order Uber or Lyft you will get a more accurate price estimate on the app.

MinnieVan pricing has also changed onsite. They started at $20 flat, then $25 flat, but have now gone to a base rate + mileage fare calculation. I'm not current on the exact prices, but some fares have gone to the $40-$45 range the last I heard.

That sounds right, I don’t think we ever paid under $40/$50 a ride and that was just within WDW.

Thanks for reporting. That really stinks and is very different than what ppl. are used to, so it's nice to get some first hand reports of ppl. there now. That's disappointing that Disney thinks it's acceptable...hopefully they don't and it was just a fluke. I know times are different now, but they seem to be doing a pretty good job so far with other modes of transportation...I hope they get ME figured out asap. Please report back how long it ended up taking and how the rest of your transportation is during your stay...it's very appreciative regardless of those who just come on to tell you you don't have a right to ge frustrated or that that's why they never use it etc. ;)

I've never used DME and am planning on using it in September. Hopefully some of the kinks are worked out by then. But now they are saying no luggage service--I guess that makes sense, but a pretty nice feature. If my wait is more than an hour--I'm def getting an Uber/Lyft!

What is the staff doing about this? If all the other resort buses are coming and going regularly staff needs to re-route those buses! Are they telling you anything?
Yes. What did Cast Members say or do when Guests from that line approached them about the delay.

Comment for the posters discussing MinnieVans: are they operating at the moment?
