***Official March 2021 Thread***

We are definitely bringing the disposables. There's talk of my kids going back 4 days a week instead of 2 after spring break as well so I figured replenishing them wouldn't hurt. And my husband is super particular about his so I ordered more of the one he finds most tolerable.

My oldest is 16 and last summer pretty much ended up getting rid of most of her old summer stuff as she had outgrown it from the summer before but because we literally went no where the entire summer, she lived in the same 3 pairs of athletic shorts. lol So her stuff is pretty rough. My son is 12 and all of his tee shirts are starting to look like crop tops.
Sounds like my son!

I live in Spring, Texas and we just got our power back on! We were all huddled around the fireplace for 2 1/2 days. But, I'm VERY thankful that we didn't lose our water like so many of our family and friends.

We are still excited about our trip! So, the number of our party has changed since I made our ADR's. 3 of our 4 daughters are adults. They all said they couldn't come so it was going to just be the 3 of us (that would've been weird for us). Then, after making ADR's we let the youngest invite a friend. Then, one of our adult daughters changed her mind (they are all HUGE Disney fans so turning us down was very hard). Now, I keep looking to see if I can revise them, but everything is completely booked. I hope they don't mind if we bring a couple of extra people. I will keep looking. If they can't accommodate us then we'll just have to look for QS. I did put a couple in the Touring Plans website ADR search engine. We'll see!

Now that I'm with power and not too cold to move around, I'm setting stuff out for the trip and coming here to get my Disney planning fix. Stay warm guys!!

Since we are talking kids clothes, I need to find 8 husky shorts for my son. Like athletic shorts. I am have zero luck. Any one have any ideas? Childrens place only has jean shorts or uniform shorts in that size. Target only has like chino type shorts in that size. Kohls only has 1 pair thats even available to ship in that size. Idk where else to look.

Walmart? You might also try Amazon. I find all kinds of stuff there, that I can’t find in the stores.

I would love to join your thread. My dates are 3/28 to 4/4. We are staying at All Star Movies.

Just decided on this trip about 3 weeks ago, so I was behind the eight ball on getting ADR's.
Joining this thread as well (our DD's first Disney trip 3/7 - 3/11 @AKL) after finding you all trying to figure out these after park hour dining reservations. Does this mean there is a likelihood park hours will be extended?

Got you both added to the list. If I missed anyone else, let me know. Now off to read some of the other replies I've missed.

I bet they did raise capacity a little more now that it's about to hit spring break crowds. I wish they would announce what the capacity is right now so we could see.

Glad you got your power back on. My Texas friends are still without and now the hotel they were staying at has lost water so they are packing up and going home.

I would try to call and see if they can add the two extra people to your ADRs. Adding one probably wouldn't have been a big deal because for 3 you would be seated at a 4 person table anyways but adding that 5th person means you will need to probably be moved to a 6 person table now.

So where you all live, when is Spring Break for your schools? My daughter's high school in NJ is the full week before Easter starting 3/29.

I'm in Northwest Alabama and ours is the week of March 22nd-26th. My niece lives in in Central Alabama and her's falls the same week, which is why we are going when we are.

My daughter wears plus - Old Navy carries plus and husky online!

I remember the days of kids outgrowing *everything*.

But what I wanted to comment on is the MASKS. The cloth ones are super cute, but I found the disposable ones more practical for Disney. This way if they get wet (water rides, rain) or sweaty, it's an easy change as they take little space in a bag. Also, no need to wash them. Just toss at the end of every day.

Oh, and if you have any mask chains, those are so helpful, too. That way, when you eat, you can just take off the mask without needing to lay it down anywhere.

I have disposable masks to take for my daughter and I as well. I can breathe better in them. I did find out I can breathe okay in the Old Navy ones as well so I bought a pack of those for my car and may buy a new pack for the trip just in case something happens I'll have them as back ups.

That's what I was thinking. When we added one person I figured they would put us at a 4-top anyway, but now... Ugh, I just really don't want to sit on the phone all that time. But, I'm iced in. What else do I have to do?? LOL

In Illinois the schools by me all seem to be March 29 thru Easter.
Luckily we are still in preschool so don't need to worry about school breaks yet 😉

2 years ago we went the same week we have planned (Feb 28-Mar 6) and it was just perfect. No crazy crowds, swimming weather without being oppressive heat. Hoping for similar results this time!

We’ve been out all week, plus a couple of days last week. But we got over a foot of snow! It’s supposed to get above freezing this afternoon for the first time in over a week, so I imagine we’ll be back to school next week. Regardless it’ll only be 3 weeks until Spring Break, when school resumes! So this has been the perfect time for our family to “Disney Talk.” We’ve even started packing some essential stuff like...ears, magic bands, sunscreen, t-shirts, etc.

I was just informed, that we have 4 not 3 weeks until spring break. I guess I got ahead of myself. 😔

Our schools’ break is the week before Easter, but we’re going during the week of my niece’s spring break which is the 15-19th. The other schools in their state don’t have break until late April. Breaks seem more scattered this year than other years, but maybe I’m just paying more attention.

Also, when you do all start packing? We leave three weeks from tomorrow and I’m considering starting to leave a bag out to throw things in as I think of them or know I won’t need them in the meantime.

We're going the same week as you! I started my Disney trip stash about 3 weeks ago. LOL! But I have a tendency to jump ahead of myself. Plus, I'm a teacher so I have to grab these lulls in action when I can. I hope you're right that the Spring Breaks are more scattered this year. I was worried when our week was the only week in the yellow in March. But, I hear that's changed. But, does that mean they increased capacity that week??

We started packing yesterday. And we’re going a week after you!

You guys have inspired me to order my last couple items off Amazon and start a bag!

there are water refill stations in the parks right? I know many places roped them off during COVID—wasn’t sure about WDW.
