Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Y’all I’m dying over here, I seriously don’t know what to do 😭. I currently have a rack rate standard room at Poly booked arriving this Sunday, but seeing CL is giving me all the feels and I want to switch…but new Poly rooms….but CL…..but close to MK for Boo Bash…..but CL…..ahhhhh so indecisive I can’t take it! My husband is just like “this is a solo trip, this is a YOU decision, don’t ask me” 😒

@CogsworthTN, wishing you a speedy recovery. That surgery is no joke.. I had one when I was pregnant with my 14 yo (full blockage from adhesions). Recovery is tough, take it day by day. 🙏

Switch!!! I want to go back🤣 if you have a long enough trip due a split stay. It's a tough one because poly is my favorite.

Oh I wish, but last time I did AKL CL I did a split and I think that’s why I didn’t like it. It was only a couple of nights and one of those was a DAH night so I really didn’t get that full experience. I also had a horrendous time getting my luggage from BWI, and being solo that was just rough (so think I’m done doing splits on solo trips unfortunately).
 
FWIW, while it has mostly correct but some oddly incorrect/stale/outdated info, the Disney Resorts “Know Before You Go” - page has the current CL reopening dates where applicable (have to scroll down a bit): https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/experience-updates/resorts/

It’s a somewhat frustrating page given some things are being kept current and some are not.

FYI, cross-posting from the CR thread, some far off news per Disney’s website. The lengthy CR pool refurb is very intriguing.

The water play area is currently closed for refurbishment and scheduled to reopen in late September 2021. The Feature Pool, Bay Lake Pool and whirlpool spas remain open for your enjoyment. Please check back for updates.

From January 9 through August 3, 2023, the Feature Pool and whirlpool spa will be closed for refurbishment. The water play area and Bay Lake Pool will remain open for your enjoyment.

I literally feel like its Christmas morning! Thank you for everyone at AKL right now taking time out of your day to post, greatly appreciated. Yay nespresso!!!!! How awesome is it that they have the A team of CL CMs taking care of you all!

@Cogsworth glad to see you back, take that recovery slowly. I'm a registered dietitian so I see a lot of bowel resection patients, if you have any questions please feel free to ask anytime.

Oh @Sarahslay, I dont think you can make a bad choice here. However, probably our worst disney moment was leaving MK late at night with 2 sleeping toddlers and waiting an hour for a bus while watching every other resort get 5 busses. I know this was an anomaly but its just what always comes to mind when I think about leaving MK late to go to AKL.

@jods hope UO is going okay. How's PBR?

Is that Jan 2022 - Aug 2023? Don’t remember how long the Grand and Poly took but that seems long…

Well, I am alone and have done an AH from AKL before and it was fine, but I do worry about his service. I however don’t yet feel comfy with the monorail at times so going from Poly to Epcot is still an issue I’ve been wrestling with. I have things to stew over tonight.
 
Are the CL rooms at the AKL still on the 5th floor (deluxe rooms) or are they now on the 4th? Also, are the rooms on the 6th, the CL rooms or DVC rooms?

Glad to see they still have that awesome espresso machine.
