Where is your one non-Disney place that is magic to you?

Interesting. I live about 20 minutes from Cedar Point and avoid it like the plague. No thanks. I’d rather fly to Orlando and go to WDW.
To me that's fascinating cause it's a great park. They have added lots to make it more family oriented. Their newest addition was a river boat cruise similar to the Jungle cruise. They also have the best collection of coasters and the best coaster IMO in Steel Vengeance.

Sitting on a veranda, overlooking The Gulf, watching the birds & dolphins while listening to the very relaxing sound of the waves crashing onto the beach - definitely a slice of heaven for me :goodvibes

Sitting on the balcony of my favorite hotel in Traverse City, Michigan with a nice glass of wine overlooking Grand Traverse Bay. I do that at least once a year and look forward to it every time. (I tried to post a couple of photos, but they are posting sideways. ☹️).

and too many parts of Japan to name.

Name some. Your favourites. I am curious. I lived there for a bit and would love to hear.

North Conway, NH

That is most definitely my long ago happy place. Full of such wonderful memories. Many road trips with friends - road trip with my mom - down from.the Eastern Townships of Quebec, where I went to school.

And that is another happy place, the Eastern Townships of Quebec. I wish more Americans - and Canadians - would get in the car and visit. The area borders NY/VT/NH and ME. It is a dreamscape in spots.

I do not know why it does that on here sometimes.

Try this - take a screenshot. Crop it. And then bring the screenshot out here, through your gallery.

I would love to see them.

I spent a few days in Kyoto and loved the contrast of the city and es.

It was nearly 30 years, so I can't name specific sites that I saw at each place, but Osaka and Kyoto particularly stand out. I remember going to one temple in Kyoto that my friend was telling me had survived many earthquakes without damage. She thought it was funny that I loved taking my shoes off there.

An outing to the Nagoya Castle I remember specifically because my friends father took the day off from work (something he never did).

I'm hoping to get back there soon, unfortunately I never made it back in time to visit my friends aunt, uncle, grandfather and mom before they died.

Something like this? This was while waiting for the family to get up for breakfast, though, so I had tea and a book. The wine came later.

(Grand Traverse Bay from a balcony at Sugar Beach hotel last spring break... definitely one of my happy places)

While I would love to say Ireland, I can't as I was in a walking boot following ankle surgery and couldnt do much but id love to visit.

My magic place other than wdw/uor: Williamsburg, VA. Not just because of the history and BG/WCUSA but there is something that keeps pulling me and my family back and yearning for it.
