What’s something that people do to try to be nice that infuriates you ?

The ones who disrupt traffic to let someone else go. They think they're being nice, but they're really making the situation less safe and disrupting everyone else.
Especially on the motorcycle. Just do what you're suppose to do, not sit there in a turn lane waving frantically at me on the side road to let me out when you aren't noticing the 15 cars going past you at 60 mph in the travel lane that you want me to pull into.

She even put her window down to frantically wave me out. I just sat there pointing at all the cars going by.

People who insist on explaining the reasoning for their question before asking the question. Just ask the question.

If you have ever been on Jury Duty you may have run into a lot of frustration when an Attorney asks a question and the opposing Attorney says "objection, no foundation for that question". So the first Attorney now has to spend 20 minutes asking meaningless questions so he can go back to ask the original question. I was on a Jury during a 6 week trial and the first thing the Juror discussed in the deliberation room was our frustration with those type objections. One of my fellow Jurors suggested the Jury need an Attorney to object to the objection!

This is very specific to my own situation but my sister has recently moved into our home and INSISTS on doing all our laundry and straightening up our bedroom daily. She's trying to help but it's driving me crazy - keep off my stuff and out of my last remaining personal space.

My dad used to do this. It made me nuts!

It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things but when you are lined up at the supermarket (or anywhere really) and someone in front of you decides to let somebody else in in front of them because they don't have a lot of items. If you want to do that to make yourself feel good then give them your place in line and go to the back otherwise your good intentions make everyone else wait more.

A guest at our Thanksgiving dinner insisted on doing our dishes afterward. I told her that we'd rather sit and chat with her but she repeatedly insisted. She even brought special rubber gloves. She ended up breaking an irreplaceable dish. I can't even find it on Replacements.

I will someone let in line in front me with only an item or two but not if there is anyone else behind me......I agree that would be rude to others waiting in line.
