Products You Miss

Jello 1-2-3
Whip 'n Chill
Fizzies
Zarex syrup- way better than KoolAid.

DH's big love is Zesta saltines, and we can't get them here in New England- at least, not in any of the stores around us or in southern ME/NH/MA area.

We used to get-maybe 1980ish-a sharp cheese spread in a red trianglish container-I think Cracker Barrel. I can still taste it.

And Darrell Lea, Australian candy company, made a ginger soft licorice that I loved so much. Gone :(.

Tart N Tinys. The original ones that were something sort of like SweetTarts, not the current candy-coated abomination. And passion fruit Snapple.

I accidentally rediscovered that one of the past (I thought) products I really missed wasn't actually gone, just not stocked in my area - CK One cologne, which was my go-to in high school and college but then seemed to disappear. I was so happy to stumble across it in a fragrance shop on one of our trips, and now it is back to being my go-to when I want a fragrance that's a little more lasting/noticeable than my everyday essential oil scents.

Do you remember a toilet cleaner named Toilet Duck and a bathroom cleaner named Bathroom Duck? I always used to like their commercials because the duck was so funny and so Dad bought some to clean our toilet and it didn't work but the handle was shaped like a duck's neck. Another product that was so marvelous was the original Didi Seven and recently they brought it back in a new look but the original claimed to work so well. I always thought the Didi in Didi Seven meant Daredevil Seven but it's still a cute nickname. You know I wonder why today's cleaning products aren't just as good as the classic ones from long ago?

Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly shampoo for wavy hair. Still haven't found a good replacement.

Planters Cheez Curls. The ones they made in the 1980s had a great tangy cheese flavor. The new ones they came out with just taste like cheese curls covered with Kraft macaroni and cheese powder. Turns out the originals were made with ingredients that they can't use any more.

Kool Aid Sunshine Punch. Drank it all the time in the 1980s.

From my childhood I remember some kind of Ruffles Bacon & Sour Cream chips.

I also used to like Kraft Mustard... I have not seen that in forever either. I know mustard is mustard, but seems like I liked the Kraft best.
