Did people see runDisney posted the participant shirts on social? I hope I like the colors more in person, green and yellow are not usually my first choices for any shirts.

I love that the Challenge Shirt is dark and I really like that yellow as it's not SUPER bright.

forgot to mention it but hey maybe this will be useful for someone. For anyone coming in via Long Beach if you don’t mind making a slight diversion on the way to the resort. A good place to grab some food (probably to go because the wait gets long) is Katellas.

We flew into LAX so we’re currently making the drive to Anaheim. So excited to be here and not in MN where it’s cloudy and going to -6 on Sunday (just in time to get home)

Follow up to my suggestion of Katellas. Because finally got to start eating it and hmmm it’s as good as the last time (and it’s been a few years). Just a menu suggestion try their motza ball soup. Comes with all the noodles and is so good. Just don’t get the bigger size because it’s a bit much.

The one character set that I want to see - and might even consider getting in trouble with the balloon ladies for - is Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip. Aurora is my girl and I've never seen her on a race course. I know that she's out at some races, just not at the ones I've done. And if they are near the castle, it's a done deal that I am stopping.

Nothing is guaranteed of course, but Phillip and Aurora were in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle during the 2012 Disneyland Half Marathon. They have also sometimes had princesses by parade floats in previous races.

I left Walt Disney World this morning to fly home tonight and leave for Disneyland tomorrow morning. I expect nothing to be at the Expo.

48.6 miles down. 22.4 to go.

Bib number is 23XXX for the challenge. I'm expecting corral G. I should note that because characters will be only in the parks, back of the pack runners may be looking at long lines for characters and may need to make difficult decisions.

My guess is that we will see Star Wars characters in Galaxy's Edge and Marvel characters in Avengers Campus since the race is not specifically themed.

I hope it’s the woman who led my yoga class I took in Redwood Creek. She leads the entire fitness program through GCH and was so lovely.

I am going to butcher the name spelling. Sajodj? Japanese woman who lived in Hawaii for 20 years and worked previously as a fitness lead at Aulani. She was really lovely and way too upbeat for 6 am!
