Cabins at Fort Wilderness Points Charts Posted! For Sale and Booking Dates too!

6 people one bathroom no washer and dryer. I am not sure a good point chart overrides that inconvenience.

I am not familiar with the cabin set up I read that they have other bathroom/shower facility that can be used but I am not sure how much that relieves the issue.
The cabins don't compete with one bedrooms, but with studios. Would you rather put 5 people in a studio, with 1 bathroom, no washer and dryer, or in a cabin, with 1 bathroom and no washer and dryer but a separate bedroom and more space?

See my post right above your.

Good point.

We didn't buy DVC to stay in studios but I get the sense that the majority of people did.

I just saw those dues of $12.15. That scares me even more.
I wonder if the dues will do down as more cabins are added and there are more points to spread around.

The other thing that might drive direct purchases in other resorts!! 150 direct points would get you pretty far here.

In addition to the idea of putting the kids in the bedroom and adults sleeping out in the LR, it also seems like it could be a good setup for families with babies. You have a kitchen, and no shared walls, and a separate space for the parents to hang out even after the baby goes to sleep. We are gifting my niece a stay as a wedding present; they have an 8 month old now. This would be better than a studio for them (unless they want to walk to MK; luckily I have BLT points too).

No, fees are projected based on budget for the whole resort. As more cabins enter the system, there are also more cabins to clean and maintain. And more guests check in, so a higher percentage for front desk staff (and other amenities, like the pool and transportation) will be allocated to the DVC resort.

Folks, you don't need a washer and dryer, it's a campground! Just wash your dirty underwear in the stream and hang it up between the trailers.

I laughed at this but we often do a small load of laundry in the sink or bathtub of the deluxe hotels and then hang them around the room/closet— so even without a w/d, having a porch and outside drying line would be huge for us. 🤣

With these rumored dues I’m only seeing myself booking the cabins at 7 months out.

I think Disney will have a harder time selling these than RiV and maybe even harder than Aulani.
I was all set to buy cabin points and the dues rumor have me putting the brakes on that, taking another look at Riviera, and wishing I'd gotten more VGF points over the summer.

Interesting thought, what if the cabins was set up as a trust because they need to sale it that way due to Florida laws. Why add language about adding properties to the trust? Covering their bases? OR they know it’s a matter of time before “Reflections” is back on the table and they will be able to add it to the cabins.

Besides, why rush to sale the cabins if Poly will be sharing the trust with the cabins? They would benefit each other. I feel like the Poly tower is ahead of schedule which made them put the cabins on sale sooner

Disney has repeatedly said PVB was a mistake because it was essentially a single room type. I can't see them repeating what they have said was a mistake. Building Reflections 2.0 and adding it to the CFW association makes a lot of sense.

I believe it should also lower dues for CFW because Reflections 2.0 would have point charts similar to BRV and CCV.

Yea no it wouldnt, BRV wont even have a point chart as low as BRV does now when its resold in 2043.

Reflections 2.0, A Lakeside Lodge and Cabins will definitely have a higher chart than WL DVC does right now.

But you're right it would lower dues probably since it'll add a ton more points into the total pool for the whole combined resort.

I spoke to a guide at the Epcot lounge a little earlier and they confirmed that dues will be the $12.15/pt and that starting cost is going to be $225/pt before incentives. He said they’re allowed to confirm those numbers now but they don’t know what the incentives will look like yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Been in the parks the last few days. I have asked at every DVC stand I saw when a model or actual unit would be available for view. Nothing so far. Hard to believe they will start selling without at least a model for folks to walk through.
