quietest place near magic kingdom

omorrowland Terrace Restaurant is always super quiet and never open when I've walked through there in the past
Agreed
I like, when it is not 1 million° outside, is the walkway in front of the Monorail. You must walk through the boat launch for the poly and GF. It has several benches scattered along the way. I also like the train station platform.

If you go to the Grand Floridian, head upstairs to the second floor. There is a sitting area that is cozy and quiet. You may encounter the Teddy Bear Lady, but she will respect your space. You can also go through the doors to a pretty much always deserted balcony that is quiet and restful.

At the Poly, if you head towards Aotearoa there is a pretty much empty beach.

I would ask over on the disability bard also all parks have first aid with coats to lay down on

a few ride at the MK

caramel of progress

Thanks for the typo laugh! I too would love to ride the Caramel of Progress - it's probably a bit sticky though! :)

If you're in MK and need something, the first aid center has seating as well. I bet if you explain your situation they may even offer you a bed for a short time.

yes I am blesses with many things spelling a grammar is NOT two of them. I often entertain my friend with my spelling and grammar I think one day I should charge money for the entertainment.

yes first aid had coats and chair out in the lobby but they do not like people just sitting in the lobby they will let you use a room if you ask them, I go in first aid so often the nurses know me by name even after I have not been there for a few months and there are times I just need to get a way and have some quiet time for my self away from people, noise, the movement that goes on in the parks, the sights, you know I just need some me/ quiet no stimulation time. and for the most part first aid is great. you do get guest that are hurt and upset and so it can be loud but I put my ear protectors on ( the kind that you use at race car races or when shoot gunns or working with sound things and the world is quiet I also have the light ( in the MK) turned off so it is simi dark

the first aid at the MK room where you can lie down had 3 wall and a curtain each room has a bed ( it really fells like an exam table) where you can lie down and one chair in the room each room has its own light swish so you can turn off the light but it really is not that dark ( if you need it to be dark bring something to cover you eyes with light an eye mask ) they also have the ear things that you put in your ears so if it is too noisey for you this could help there are maybe 10 rooms here

HS first aid has 3 small areas to lie down they are not really that speratet just by room deviters and there is no light for you to turn off or on all thought I think they do leave that light off most of the time,

EPCOT first aid is kind of out of the way and I find it easy ( beside during food and wine) to find a spot to hid in the parks.

AK I have never been to this first aid as there are only 3 thing I do here the safari EE and diansore and some time prime ever whole so I am usually rope from out by 10- 1030

The top of my list for a break from the Magic Kingdom is the lobby of the Grand Floridian. There often is a small jazz band up in a balcony or a piano player playing relaxing music on the grand piano while you sit in the comfy chairs or sofas scatters about the room. However, if you go between Thanksgiving and Christmas the Grand Floridian has their life sized Gingerbread cottage set up, which is lovely to see, but it does bring quite a few more visitors to the lobby. That said, it is still relaxing and serene. You might even want to book afternoon tea in the Garden View Tea Lounge. Its absolutely blissful.

My favorite place to take a break near Animal Kingdom is at the Animal Kingdom Kidani Village building. We found a cozy extremely quiet (as in we were the only ones in there) lounge with fireplace. I can't quite remember exactly where it was as we haven't been there in a couple of years, but it had a big handmade quilt hanging on the wall with people's names embroidered onto it. I don't know why those names were there but I did recognize one person whose name was there.

DH and I loved the ferry ride from MK to the GF to the Poly and back. It is very quiet, and the boats are small. You could take it to one of the docks and sit and watch the water until you decompress enough to hop on the next one back to MK. The docks all had quiet spots with benches to sit on away from where passengers load and unload. In our experience, the docks were never crowded. Most folks must prefer the monorail :)
