What are your Disney "Sleepers"

In honor of March Madness starting today, I thought it'd be fun to list our "sleeper" park attractions. A sleeper in sports is a team that is something that succeeds when no one thought it would. It's often overlooked but exceeds expectations.

Whether it's something overlooked, forgotten or just your personal favorite that no one seems to give love... what's your sleeper?

I'll start.

I love Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. It's pretty much the same every time but I still laugh at the cheesy jokes. It gets me every time.

The Canada Pavilion is absolutely gorgeous. A lot of people pass it by because it's the first country depending on which was you're entering. The forced perspective, detail and structure of the pavilion is amazing.

For my family, there's something about the Boardwalk. We stayed at BC this year and I can't tell you how many times I just went and walked around the Boardwalk in the morning and at night. I'm so happy to see them building it up with Ample Hills and the new speakeasy. I hope the continue to add stuff.

Great Movie Ride still does it for us. We didn't get on last year b/c it was so crowded at DHS (following Star Wars coming out) so we made sure to do it this year. It's so nostalgic.

Last—not so much attraction related.. but the donuts at Joffreys. Holy cow are they good. They look like any other donut (only on steroids) but wow are they good and fresh! I always figured "well, I can get a donut ANYWHERE." True, but these have become a favorite for me.

Love Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
Does the Great Movie Ride count? I love that ride, even though I know it's not the most popular.

Only one mention of Flights of Wonder.

There's your sleeper, right there.

Totally agree. My husband and I skipped for years thinking "it's just another bird show" and then on a solo trip, I was walking by right before it started so decided to give it a try since I wanted to sit down. Totally blown away by it all and now it's a "can't miss" every single trip.

We also took a chance on Rafiki's Planet Watch and now that's a "can't miss" as well. Nice train ride in a unique way, then a nice walk back to Conservation Station with animal knowledge along the way, static displays at the Station and then we get to pet goats and pigs and whatever other animals are around. And best of all - no FastPass required!

Monsters, for sure! Also love Living with Land.

Funny... when I first read your thread title I thought you meant rides for sleeping! DH has a couple of those... The Ellen ride at Epcot and the good old Carousel of Progress. That is one of my favs period... but I've had to stop DH from snoring! He says it's the perfect nap ride!

Tom Sawyer's Island is a sleeper. My 5 year old son wants to easily spend and hour or more running around that place, which is a great playground for children with an active adventure imagination. Have to say my wife and I now enjoy it a lot as well.

And though well-publicized, WL at Christmas never has crushes of visitors from other resorts coming by to relax in the holiday atmosphere. The choir of 20 or so young women that sang very traditional Christmas songs in the lobby was not to be missed...

We always *really* enjoy Living With The Land. It must be something Disney puts in the water because I was taking pictures of tomatoes and stuff. Like New Jersey doesn't have tomatoes...

And we did the riverboat for the first time on our last trip and it was really enjoyable. We got to stand front and center on the top deck and it was so cool!
