What are your Disney "Sleepers"

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has an affinity for Living with the Land, there is something very comforting about that ride. Gran Fiesta is also great, cool & soothing.

Two things we always make it a point to do not at the top of anyone's list would be the Beauty and the Beast show at HS and pin trading at Animal Kingdom.

One I haven't seen that we really enjoyed was the Pixar short film festival at Epcot. Huge Pixar fans here anyway!! But we loved the added effects and just a nice break from the summer heat!

I'll be the second person to admit enjoying Stitch!!! It's terrible. I know it's terrible. It's really, really bad. And that's exactly what makes it so good!!!! My kids love it!

Will also miss Ellen's Energy Adventure.

We love Philharmagic as well...but never thought of it as a "sleeper".

And for all the Living with the Land lovers, I'd really recommend the "Behind the Seeds" tour! I haven't done it personally but husband has twice and loved it. (Kids weren't interested so I went off with them and DH got to do the tour himself) It's very inexpensive, discounts are offered, and you can even book it the same day with no problem.

Another vote for Monster's Inc and People Mover! Philarmagic also. I was so pleasantly surprised when we watched it for the first time, and it's a great way to relax in some air conditioning!

We adore Flights of Wonder, Living with the Land, and the PeopleMover (usually we stay on and go around twice). Another one that I don't think I have seen is the American Adventure animatronic show. LOVE.

Did the Pixar short film festival this last trip and loved it! It was much better than I thought it was going to be.

I love Living with the Land, but missed it this last time because the line was so long (not waiting 45 minutes). I agree the Behind the Seeds tour is great!

Mama Melrose's! We did Ohana, be our guest, yachtsman and California grill... but our favorite table service meal (not necessarily the best... but favorite overall) was the fantasmic dining package at Mama Melrose's! We got sooooo much (excellent) food for a reasonable price and the service was outstanding. All that and the fact that it got us front row for fantasmic without waiting at all made it the sleeper hit of our trip for sure.

A perfect combination:

Impressions of France movie, followed by a meal at Chefs de France.

Country Bear Jamboree.

IMHO, some of the"old guard" MK attractions are there for a reason; they INSPIRE us and REMIND us of the essence of Disney. The Bears invoke that perfect balance between adult "cheekiness" and kid friendly humor. All enjoy but for different reasons. It never has a line, it's always cool inside and everyone smiles. What's wrong with that?

We LOVE Philharmagic (love watching the littles try to 'catch the jewels'), the Laugh Floor, and the little village in Germany. We spend a good deal of time on Tom Sawyer Island too.

ETA Forgot about Carousel of Progress. Saw it for the first time on our trip last summer. Even my 12 and 16 year old loved it and we did it every time we were in MK. It is kind of out of the way so easy to miss.

We are another family the loves Philharmagic! Multiple times on every trip!

One of our favorite things to do as a family is grab some fresh caramel corn from Karamel Kuche after Illuminations on an EMH night, sit on a bench, and watch them pull the barges off the lagoon. It's really relaxing, and we don't feel a need to rush back out. The caramel corn is the best on the planet, and the music plays until they are done putting everything away. It's great, and it isn't something we would have ever planned or even thought to do. Now that we did a few years ago, we make sure we do it on every trip.

We also love Mikey's Philharmagic! My kids were shrieking with laughter.

Something that took me by surprise was Ellen's Energy ride. The only reason we went on it was because it was so hot at Epcot, and it was nap time so I was hoping to have a couple napping kids. But they were all completely captivated!

At MK I'm always looking forward to getting over to Carousel of Progress. Something about that attraction soothes my soul.

American Adventure makes my heart sing.

This is ant awesome thread. I have no idea what Tiki room is and I can't wait to discover it next trip!

My sleeper is people mover for sure. We love it!
