FP+ window opens up tomorrow for April 20, the day we're going to MK. The hours are 7am- 8am and regular hours 8am-11pm. We can't get in til 8am bc we're staying off property.
Should I plan to go directly to Frontier/Adventureland when we get there or try Fantasyland/Tomorrowland? I know for EMH Frontierland/Adventureland isn't open for EMH so I thought there wouldn't be lines developed and it's be a waste of time to go right to Fantasyland since lines will be built up there already. Thanks in advance.

So should i plan for FP+ for Splash, Space and Buzz (do Adventure/Frontierland first thing) or FP+ PP, BTM and Jungle Cruise (Fantasyland first thing)????

I would hit BTM (first) and Splash (second) when you get there, and do Adventureland (Pirates/Jungle Cruise) after that without FP+. Maybe then go to Haunted Mansion? I would start your first FP around 10 or 11 a.m. for Space/Buzz/Peter Pan. I would FP those. Mostly likely 7DMT won't be available. You might get lucky though. This plan is if you don't want to ride 7DMT. If you want to ride 7DMT, I have had good luck with wait times in the evening after the fireworks.

In my personal style, I would head to Adventureland/Frontierland for exactly the reason you mentioned. Start over there at rope drop, and make your FP+ for just after lunchtime for the Fantasyland rides or Tomorrowland rides you'd like. (You should be able to get a chunk of stuff done on that side of the park before the lines get crazy.) Do you have any ADRs you are trying to schedule around?

this plan sound pretty darn solid! thank you so much!!!!! I'll do my very best to get SDMT. I've never ridden it so it's a must. Will update tomorrow after I get Fastpasses.

Yes. I have a dream ADR for lunch at BOG at 12:45. i was trying my best to work the schedul around so we wouldn't have to do as much walking but it seems pretty hard

Wouldn't it be too chilly to ride Splash that early????? (8:15ish)

You might be surprised. Is this your first trip to WDW or Florida? I have been on Splash Mountain in March and May in 70 degrees + humidity in the morning. It's probably going to be hotter than you think. You might get lucky and have some good weather.

I actually just moved to south Louisiana. My grandma lives in Florida. I lived in FL til I was 5. I just don't really remember. My thought process was maybe it'd be better to save that ride til it's even warmer to cool off.

If you don't want to be uncomfortably wet in the morning, I'd FP it for later in the day.

I have a 7-day FP booking window, and for next Monday, PP, Splash, BTM are showing availability for 2 people at a variety of times. You may find similar availability being the week after Easter - how many in your party?

If you watch the noon parade in the Hall of Presidents area, you won't have far to walk to get to BOG.

Gotcha. If that is the case, I would drop the Buzz FP and use that for Splash. You could always ride it twice. :) I only mentioned the plan above so that you don't find yourself walking from one side of the park to another.

2. My sister and I. Yeah watching the noon parade would prob be a better idea than the 3:30 one bc fewer ppl.

I checked for this Thursday, the 23rd, and Space, Splash, PP, BTM all have availability for 2 people. The only ride totally unavailable: 7DMT.

I think you'll be okay finding a set of 3 good FPs.

The FP+ I got were SDMT at 8:30-9:30am, Space Mtn at 11am-noon and Splash Mtn from 1:35-2:35. Now all I have to do is figure out how to do Peter Pan without a ridiculous wait.

Walk by PP as soon as you enter the park to check the wait time. You have until 9:45a to use your 7DMT.

Nice FPs! Should be a fun day. :)
