I understand you can get Easter baskets made at Disney Springs. But does anyone know if they are selling pre-made Easter Baskets at the Magic Kingdom or at the resorts? Thank you and Happy Easter

I personally have never seen any Easter baskets within the parks.

Whether there are or not, they certainly SHOULD be available. Disney downplays Easter big time.

hhmmm Disney here's another money making idee.. Easter egg hunt at MK!!!!

but seriously.. easter baskets would sell like hot cakes

Did I see something about selling Easter baskets in downtown disney? ....

Limited-Time Easter Offerings Soon Available at Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs
This is currently on DisneyParks Blog.
I hope this helps.

Disney Food Blog just did a piece on Easter treats around WDW and they showed baskets for sale at the Grand Floridian - just a monorail ride from MK. Also showed awesome Easter egg display at GF as well.

I don't think they downplay Easter, but rather they don't see it as a "season" similar to the Christmas season so decorations are not as elaborate.

Exactly. Less time to make money, less return for putting up decorations, etc. Just not worth it.

And Easter I've found still has stronger religious ties than Christmas. I am not religious, but do participate in Christmas activities. I don't pay any attention to Easter.

the resort baskets are not premade. You buy the items and then pay for the bag and shrink wrape presentation.

So is Christmas...they do a thing or two for Christmas, right? ;-)

I'm glad they downplay Easter - why do we (as a society) have to commercialize all these holidays anyways? The Christmas stuff is more skewed towards Santa, BTW, not the religious stuff.

We were at the Contemporary last night. There was a big table set up outside the store, and they were slammed putting together baskets for people. You could buy permafrost baskets in the store or customize. Looked expensive.

We just left the Wilderness Lodge. The gift shop had a table setup to make custom baskets. They also had some pre-made including some with high end merchandise.

Right and the Easter stuff is skewed towards the Easter Bunny and eggs....not religious at all.

I know many nonreligious people, even people of jewish or muslim decent, that celebrate Christmas. It is a secular holiday in many ways, organized around the date of the old pagan celebration of the winter solstice.
I know very few nonreligious people who celebrate Easter in any meaningful way - ie they enjoy a good reese peanut butter egg and perhaps and egg hunt, but that's about it.
