Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

:sad1: Diane...I thought about you earlier in church after looking at the senior pictures earlier today. Paster Bell was announcing his "Parenting Class"; he had a jar of 936 marbles sitting on a little table. He told us to look at that jar before saying, "As parents (and/or grandparents) you only have 936 weeks (illustrated by the marbles) to teach and guide your children before they graduate high school! :faint: Didn't really think about it that way before and knowing "Stef's jar is almost empty" made me go...WOW! Redstorm is progressing nicely :goodvibes; the Princess...:scared:...we've got some major teaching when it comes to her! :rotfl2:

...and Denise...I KNOW...6 years already? :faint: :tink:

I have another version of the marble story that is for the opposite end of the life span. On my laptop somewhere.

This is from a resort :goodvibes; it's not in a shop. :tink:

Value, Moderate or Deluxe?

:sad1: Been thinking about that lately too. Bottom line...we ALL need to make the best out of everyday...(and plan our next trip to Disney World! :goodvibes) How are things going Ed; I'm guessing you're getting back to normal with power restored and clean up done? Beginning the annual "battle of the leaves in the pool" here :faint:; daily removing as many leaves and acorns as possible but water has warmed up again since the storm. It's a pleasant 80-82 now! ::yes:: Been thinking about you! :tink:

How do you like your job by now Diane?

I've been meaning to answer you on this. Everyone is really super nice, everyone except the woman I have to work with.:( She is really of mean to me. She gives me all her crap work that she should be doing like alphabetizing piles and piles of forms. I've been doing a lot of her work unloading boxes and a lot of physical work. I already hurt my back twice since I've been there. A lot of up and down and calling kids to the office, finding kids, I don't have time to breathe. It's nothing like the last school I worked at. Not really liking it at all. My old boss wants me to come back, I can pretty much make my own schedule and work days and hours I want but it would still be part time.

Fun day for the Princess...the traditional Homecoming Mum to wear to school today:

Anyone else watching the PBS series this week on Vietnam? Didn't know if DH could but he's been glued to the TV screen every evening. :goodvibes The best part for him has been the interviews with the Vietnamese people who profoundly thank the US servicemen for their assistance. Heartwarming :lovestruc. One particular part was a dinner between a 63 year old Vietnamese gentleman and a 68 year old Marine. The Marine stated his surprise when he's now thanked for his service. (And we can relate...we'll never forget the hasty exit from the airport in Houston when DH got off the plane while still wearing his uniform. :scared: We were met with some pretty hateful comments on the way out the door!) DH and I both looked at one another and said, "Clearly he's never been to DISNEY WORLD"! :rotfl: We lost count of how many CM's...and other guests... told him "thank you for your service" when he wore his Vietnam Veteran hat. Once again, proof of what a special place DW is. :lovestruc :tink:
