Magical Express - Online booking delayed?

Hi everyone,

Finally making the trip back home this December. It's been about 3 years so feeling a bit rusty. We put in our magical express info 2 weeks ago - got the generic we will get back to you response and have got nothing back. Back in the day I know they were pretty quick with adding the information.

I'm assuming this is just them being delayed with all the Irma rebookings etc (and rightfully so) But just want to make sure - you still get a confirmation email for magical express at some point right?
 
Hm, have you checked your spam folders?

I put in my request for today this Monday and got the generic mail straight away. Got the confirmation the day after.

Maybe you should try calling if you don’t have it in you spam folder.
 
Checked my spam and nothing there. Will try giving a call tomorrow. Thanks!
 
DVC is a required middle man, they take the info that you enter and re-enter it into the DME system. You can call DME direct and verify if your reservation exists. (866) 599-0951

So called magical express and they have nothing under my reservation. Guess its a case of lost in limo. A bit shocking considering I actually did it twice (new and updated since we have 2 family groups with different flights and addresses, you would think at least 1 of them would have went though) Will call DVC to add via phone since the online form didn't seem to like me. Thanks for your help!
 
I'm glad I saw this post! I've never actually booked Magical Express. We've always used a travel agent and she did that for us. How far in advance do you submit the request? Will there be a note to do this or do I just have to remember? TIA!

As soon as you have your info you can enter in on the DVC website or call them. They tend to mail them about 45 days prior to the trip.
 


I could be "off" on my advice? Since IRMA, Member Services appears to be VERY overloaded. We've experienced EMAIL requests, pretty much dumped, with repeat after repeat.

I would suggest CALLING... Wait time may be huge :(.
 
If you're going to call you add, change or verify DME info, and that's the sole reason for your call, I suggest you call DME directly and not MS. It'll be much faster with little or no hold time.

I had the exact same issue. I called Member Service but the wait on the phone was sooo long I hung up.
Looks like I will have to call again as I haven't received anything.

You need to do it at least 10 days in advance if you want to receive tags for your luggage in the mail.
 
I filled in the online ME form yesterday night, and had a confirmation by 10:00am this morning, so they seem to be back on top of things.

Ditto - our prior TWO communications finally got a response. The added data concerned DVC issues with Hurricane Irma recovery. We were not shocked - just wish they had advised of this at the get go....
 
I recently sent my info in and it took 3 weeks for them to get back. It seems to take a little longer every year...
 
I did the form on ME, instant email.
And tags arrived yesterday!! For a mid January trip!!
