Apple Watch band for Magic Band Puck?

I don't enjoy wearing the new style Magic Bands, and on our last trip I opted for wearing my Apple watch and just tossing the magic band in a bag. I was considering the Magic Keeper from Disney and having DH wear it on his belt when I didn't need it, but then a friend sent me a link to MyDesignAccessories on Etsy. I ordered the watch slider a couple of days ago - just waiting to get it and see how it works. I plan to wear it around the house before our trip to see if there are any issues with the puck not fitting securely. I'd prefer being able to screw it in (for my own peace of mind) but hopefully it won't be an issue!

Just wanted to give an update for anyone following this thread! I ordered the puck holder from Etsy and it came in today. I've been wearing it for a couple of hours now and I completely love it! I don't even notice it on my band - I've got it slid around to the side/back of the watch band since that's where I'd wear it in the parks for easy access at the tapstiles. Our trip isn't until the end of October so I won't be able to test it in the parks for a while, but I plan to wear it on my watch between now and then to see how it holds up.

It's a hard plastic, not soft and flexible like the passholder sliders, and I have zero concern about it stretching over time or about the puck coming out. I'm actually more concerned that I'll want to use a different color puck one day and it'll be hard to get this one out, haha. My watch is the Series 1 38mm, for size reference.

I have a black band and a black watch, but the white was still tempting! I ordered mine Sunday as soon as I saw black was an option!

Now I have to decide if I want to use a blue, yellow, or red puck to match my Woody watch face :-)
 


Oh heck yes!!! This is definitely going on my Garmin band for our Feb trip!! I saw the same Etsy shop link in one of my FB groups, but couldn't find it when I went back to look for it.

We're all trying to post the direct link but the boards are making it redirect for some reason. If you go to Etsy and search for the shop MyDesignAccessories, that's the shop we're all referencing. They only have this one item in their shop so they're easy to find.

Is it just me.... when I click on these etsy links it is taking me to viglink.

I'm sure it is something on my end.found that viglink and disabled and good now. Don't know how that happened on my iPhone.
 
These are awesome! I wish I had known about them before as I've been debating getting the new IWatch before this trip just to not have to have my phone out constantly. Oh well, there's always next trip!
 
This is a great idea. Keeping an eye on this for my next trip. I like to wear my Apple watch around the parks so I don't have to pull my phone out every time I get a text or email. Saves on the phone battery during the day.
 
I really like this idea. I'm just not sure I want to wear my Apple Watch in the parks. Decisions...

Does anyone who has one of these know if these will fit over a 38mm Apple Watch with a sports loop band
