SeaWorld FL and Super Grover passes

Hey All - been a couple years so I want to check and see if you have the scoop.

In the past, we have always purchased Super Grover Platinum passes via Sesame Place and all the parks (SW, BG, etc) gave us the Platinum benefits. Tour/dining discounts, platinum seating at shows, parking, etc.

I need to buy passes this week for an upcoming trip. Does anyone know if all the Platinum perks still offered?
 
They are, but technically you have to activate you card at your home park first. I know others have had success, but it may be a problem.
 
Interesting about the activation. All the years we have done this, never had to. Especially since first use could very easily be when SP is closed.
