me and my wife to be will be spending 2 weeks at wdw for our honeymoon in early August 2018. I have been to wdw 3 times and haven’t been since 2008 but my parents have been the last 2 years and have given me an update on the place.
Me and my fiancé have made dining choices at some great restaurants but I am looking for some tips for after dinner other than the usual fireworks displays at various parks and any special things to do during the day to make her trip extra special. She is a big Disney fan and as we are from the UK this is likely to be our only wdw trio for at least the next 5-10years.
Any ideas would be welcomed guys. Thanks in advance

Congrats! We are doing our honeymoon in Sept 2018 and have been trying to find some alternates to just fireworks too. ( We know we'll hit that at least once on the trip already so we wanted a few other things to do). Here's what we found so far:
  • Horse Drawn carriage ride around Port Orleans French Quarter.
  • We plan on going to the Coca Cola Store and hitting the roof top bar for an adult beverage and some people watching.
  • We're going to see if the new Cirque show will be running yet and that has some potential.
  • Jellyrolls at Boardwalk.
  • We're also really interested in the Edison and what it has to offer. I've read that they also have performance art ( not sure if this is while people are dining or in a bar area ) so we're going to watch reviews on the Dining board for this one.
Have a great time!

DH and I are honeymooning in September 2018 too!

Big on our list is the Signature Dining and the Food and Wine Festival, carriage ride at POR, and Bongos Cuban Cafe.

There are loads of lounges around everywhere if you like tasty libations. Keep in mind that the grounds of resorts and areas all have landscape and post lighting so a stroll pretty much anywhere late at night could be a wonderful, romantic option. Like you mentioned, there are loads of special restaurants to savor and the Food and Wine Festival. For during the day and even late night "special" option definitely check out all of the tours that they have available. They have a late night safari adventure at Animal Kingdom Lodge that is relatively inexpensive and it doesn't require a park ticket. You can also go through catered events and plan something really special for just the two of you!

Disney Springs has some AMAZING new places to eat......you can spend at least half of your trip eating there and never get bored. Also, drop hints that you are on your honeymoon whenever you can....whether it gets you a good seat, a congratulatory desert, anything, it added a little pixie dust to our honeymoon!! And there is NOTHING wrong with being romantic and staying in with some delicious room service for a night or two.....
