Question about getting free tickets from a family member in the DCP.

Hey everyone! My brother got accepted into the DCP and I know he will get 3 day passes after he completes 150 hours. I'm just wondering how long it will take for him to actually receive those tickets. If I fly down the day after he crosses the 150 hour mark, could I use the free tickets the next day?

Thank you.

I would not try to cut it that close. It will take a while for him to get those hours and by then he will know the drill. I would say a few days though. They mailed a card to my kids once they qualified.

The tickets will typically show up on his account the pay period after he co,plates the hours. And he has to be with you to use the ticket for the first park of the day. He can assign the ticket to you so you can make fastpasses but you won't be able to enter park until the DCP person scans there ID. After the first entry for that ticket you are free to hop without him. These tickets are one day hoppers so each day you use a ticket he'll have to be with you at first entry.

So I have to be with him at the start of each day? My god it's like they're trying to make it as hard as possible to use these passes.

Yes, he will need to be there to check you into the park each day.

So how do you guys with family as cast members usually go about getting into the first park each day? Any tips to make this pain a little easier?

When my son worked there, he usually started work around 3 or 4AM, so he took a break and we texted him to meet us at the gate. If he wasn't working, he usually would go with us to the park.

Hi , my daughter will be working on a year long programme soon , will she accrue 3 tickets for every 150 hours worked or is it a one off perk ?

If I recall correct, she'll be able to get up to 9 tickets. After that, only discounted tickets are available.

3 tickets each for 150 hours, 300 hours and 900 hours worked. If she is there over Holidays (starting in October) they receive a holiday booklet that has extra passes (one day admission for up to 3 people I think).

Don't think there are many blackout dates for DCP tickets (maybe a park here and there over Christmas/NYE) but DCP tickets aren't the same as regular cast member admission tickets for family/friends-those do have more blackout dates. Right now it looks like DAK for Good friday and Easter Monday are only blackout dates for DCP tickets.

So my brother has the 3 day passes. Can I add them to My Disney Experience and start making FP picks?
