Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

lol silly southeners that is not snow

you cant slide down a hill where there is more grass then snow

WOW...YOU have a "fun week" ahead of you! :cold: That's unbelievable! Does that mean it's coming down to Texas later...that's been the pattern this year! :crazy2: You should have fun washing your car in THAT! :lmao: And BTW...you CAN slide down a hill when there's more grass than snow ::yes::...check out her video on Facebook! The nice, crunchy grass was full of ice and you can slide on ICE without any problem! DH 'bout "busted his backside" more than once yesterday just trying to walk! :rotfl: That's why I never ventured out of the house yesterday...with my luck I'd have a broken SOMETHING today! :lmao: With all that snow coming YOU might even get a SNOW DAY :dance3:and get to stay home from work! :dancer::tink:

So sorry your DH had to go out in that weather! Must have been an emergency. I always say it would have to be an emergency or poor planning to go out on days like that. Glad your DD closed her shop! If they mail is cancelled, she should stay home. Ice is worse than snow! Meanwhile we haven't even been below freezing in days! :beach: It's hard to complain about the warm temps and lack of snow but then the summer could be worse.......

Oh...David didn't venture very far yesterday...only to his shop for more firewood...2 blocks at the most. And not poor planning on his part ...son-in-laws "stole" our stash of firewood he'd moved to the house! :rotfl2: Shop was closed yesterday...when she tried to leave yesterday morning her vehicle doors were frozen shut! She couldn't get in the truck or car! o_O It probably dropped to 19-20 last night...saw some reports in our area of 15-17 but was 20 at our house when DH got up. Took him 6 hours to thaw one of the water faucets on the north side of the house, not quite as long for 3 others. Well froze at DD's place in Kenney...SIL still trying to thaw it out. One of our friends was without power 5 hours yesterday :scared:; they were struggling keeping their small grandchildren warm...the exact reason we have a fireplace and wood heater. Was still 29 at noon but bright sunshine is finally thawing things out. DD needed to go to Brenham to check on the pipes in her shop this morning and the normally 20 minute drive took well over an hour...VERY scary for her. Hard freeze again tonight. It's been an adventure! :tink:

The stage area? Maybe during the Candlelight Procession performance?

It's outside? On a wall? A light show? You said attraction, right? So it has to be on the main building?

Is it on a banner of some sort? Or is it a projection on the building?

:dance3::woohoo::dance3: Terri nailed it! :thumbsup2 The stage area for the Candlelight Procession performance...

31 degrees is too cold for this Florida girl, not looking forward to tomorrow morning. Also have to remember to cover my veggie plants this afternoon. This is the second time this winter I have had to do that, apparently Mother Nature forgot that we are the "sunshine state", lol.

And when we're more used to temps in the 80's-90's our bodies don't adjust well. :rotfl:I went to the grocery store after lunch and sat in front of the fireplace for 10 minutes when I got home! I was "chilled to the bone"! :rotfl2: (I can "hear" Jeff, Diane and Denise LAUGHING AT US :lmao:!) Our high today was 35; DH drove out to younger DD's house (in the "true" country :goodvibes) and said it was still below freezing there. They live in a wooded area and today's beautiful sunshine had a hard time penetrating the tree coverage. Ground still frozen solid and any low lying area on the road was ice. Our back patio is still totally covered with ice. I haven't "unwrapped" my plants yet but not sure they made it through the cold unharmed even with the warmth from the Christmas lights wrapped around them. Good luck with your garden (DH's totally bit the dust :o); if you have any Christmas lights available you might want to scatter them among your plants for extra warmth. Our predicted low tonight is 24 so we're still not "out of the woods"...:tink:

I tried to add on a night to our second resort reservation and they had nothing available.:( We would have to change room categories and I did not want to do that.:headache: The CM told me I may have better luck trying to add a night around 30-40 days before. Packages that are not paid within 45 days the rooms become available. Makes sense I guess but I don't want to wait that long.
