<><> The "Official" DISNEY RECIPE Exchange! <><> 1850+ recipes!

I sent an email asking for the Skippers Beefy Mac and Cheese from Skipper Canteen. Unfortunately they weren't able to provide it. Took a shot since it dropped off their menu a while ago. Been kind of disappointed in requesting recipes. I need to move down to FL so I can just pop by and actually ask a chef face-to-face.

I know I'm not the person you're replying to, but I would love that recipe :)

I found in the index the post for the Main Street Bakery Cinnamon rolls..

  • Main Street Bakery: Magic Kingdom
Cinnamon Rolls 2 versions page 24:470

It can be found on page 24 of this thread post #470.

Hope that helps!

Not sure how I missed that. Thank you!

Wow, this thread, along with the index, is ah-MAZ-ing!!! I’ve been skimming both for hours!

That said, I’ve always loved the Sanaa Bread Service. With the plain and flavored varieties of naan combined with all the accompaniments, well let’s just say that it can be a meal all by itself!!

I would LOVE to have the recipes for the tamarind chutney, the coriander chutney, the mango chutney, the tomato date jam, and the garlic pickle! Does anyone have a resource for these? They’re extra-special favorites of ours.

The Green Coriander Chutney is on page 148:2945 Couldn't find the others

Does anyone have the "Nutty Chocolate" specialty drink from the Enchanted Garden (Fantasy). I know it has Vanilla Vodka, Crème de Cacao White, Baileys Galliano, Vanilla Mix. OMG it was delicious. My friend is trying to recreate it for a wedding. We cannot get the ingredient amounts correct grrr ty!

Apparently it's been re worked and is now called Skip’s Beefy Baked Pasta. They have changed from ground beef to shredded beef and now serve it like lasagna (in plated squares).

I asked for the Skippers Canteen Capachas recipe in person the last time I was there and had no luck - even though I left my Email and was promised that the recipe would be sent. When I followed up with guest services I was told that the recipe is not available - which happens most of the time now. I think the chefs got too busy or were tired of trying to modify the recipes for home use. It's too bad.

I have a friend who works as a secretary for the Food and Beverage of the Contemporary. Last time we were visiting (April 2018) I mentioned that I heard that test kitchen closed. My understanding is that this was where they modified recipes for home use, so it wasn't actually the chefs that were doing it. Chefs would send the recipe to the test kitchen and the test kitchen would be the area that sent you the recipe.

Anyways, I mentioned this to her and she was completely unaware that they closed the kitchen. She contacted a chef from Skipper Canteen that she knows personally seeking the recipe and even she had no luck. It's a shame. In my early 20's when I really started to get into Disney I would read how Disney was great at giving out recipes. Ever since I moved into my own place, I was super excited to amass my own Disney recipe collection. But unfortunately it doesn't seem like that will be the case.

Don't get me wrong, this collection is great, and I definitely have made things using these recipes. It just seems, going forward, getting recipes will just be more and more difficult. :(
