Flights are booked so now we're looking for somewhere to stay :sunny:
I'd originally planned to look at Windsor Hills or somewhere else close to WDW.
I've been having second thoughts and, as we intend to spend a few days at Universal (and will be staying the first 5 nights at All Stars Music anyway) I've been considering somewhere like Vista Cay or Parc Corniche - has anyone stayed at either of them? Alternatively does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance :thanks:

Without a doubt, Wyndhams Bonnet Creek. Situated between caribbean beach and Typhoon Lagoon. lost count of the number of times I have stayed there (see signature)the last being the August just gone. wouldn't stay anywhere else. Never had a single bad moment there. If you go over to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board, you will see loads of stuff about Bonnet Creek. I have always booked with Ken and Denise Price at www.vacationupgrades.com. They are wonderful. Don't be put off by there website, it looks a bit old fashioned. Just call them. You will see lots of excellent reports for them. For pictures just look on booking.com or tripadvisor. Lots there. 6 pools, 2 lazy rivers, mini golf, lots of entertainment. Very large apartments. Loads for the kids to do. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Same here, our fave place is WBC. Last time I booked with Ken & Denise, paid about £70/nt for a 2 bed. 100% better than the 2 bed we had at Windsor Hills, didn't like the apartment or the location.

I'd originally looked at WBC and other accommodation in that area but, as I mentioned, I'm thinking about staying somewhere more central to all the parks - not just Disney :sunny: At the moment Vista Cay or Westgate Lakes are favourites - I just wondered whether anyone had stayed there or had any thoughts.

Oh ok, but just to let you know, pretty easy drive from WBC to Universal. We do it all the time. I go the back way down S Apopka Vineland Road > Sandlake > Turkey Lake. Never run into traffic. The facilities and price at Bonnet Creek far outway saving 15 minutes on the journey to Universal, especailly if also going to Disney. Last August we only went to MK once for the Halloween Party. Other than that we didn't have Disney tickets.

Thankyou :-) In the end I booked a 2 bed apartment in the Vista Cay complex off the Homeaway site. It looks lovely so everything crossed :-D
