Official July 2018 Thread!

Congrats on the CG reservation! We've never eaten there yet, but its on our list. We have 'Ohana reservation that should allow us to enjoy dessert with HEA fireworks.

Oooh that sounds awesome too! I cannot wait for the HEA views from CG. I am so hoping for a table by the window!

Is anyone else noticing that there are more ADR availability? We are pretty well set on reservations, but I just checked a few days in our trip. I'm seeing availability that I wouldn't expect at 3 months plus out, such as V&A, 'Ohana, CRT, CG and others. They are not necessarily at the best times (i.e. 3:45PM at 'Ohana on 7/11/18), but others are reasonable (6:00PM at V&A on 7/10/18, 5:40 at CG on 7/10/18). Is this a translation into lower attendance or am I reading into it too much?

Side note, the V&A ADR is very tempting, even though it is insanely expensive...

I have noticed that too. Also PIN codes have been sent out for multiple dates in July which leads me to think attendance isn't where Disney feels like ti should be.

Hello everyone. I just booked a July trip at POFQ! Dates are 7/25-30. I used the Incredible Summer Room offer. My mom and 2 kids will be traveling with me. This will be our first time visiting in July. I'm hoping we can handle the heat. Right now my plan is to do mornings at the parks then return to the resort for nap time and then spend the late afternoons/evenings at the pool. My DS and I have annual passes so I won't feel too bad only doing mornings at the parks. I plan on reading through the rest of the thread but wanted to join in first!

We are thinking about adding our names to the pot for July! We are currently booked for a May, but a family wedding is making July much more appealing. It would be DH, myself and 3 kids (6, 5, and 6 months) July 15-21. Looked for ADRs and plenty of availability for what I was looking for. Likely staying at Pop if our travel agent has the rooms, if not will be going with All star Movies. My biggest concern with this whole plan is the baby...has anyone taken a 6 month old in the summer recently? If so, what were your experiences?! Thanks and hopefully will officially join you all soon!

I got my magical express tickets today. I wasn’t expecting them so soon!

They also had the wrong address on them. My address is right in MDE, so not sure why the address was wrong. Luckily, I’ve got an awesome mailman that still got it to me.

Hi everyone!!! After a spur of the moment decision I decided I am going to give WDW a try over July 4th. It's a short, solo trip but I need a Disney Fix before my major trip with sister and niece in December. I will be staying at Movies from July 2nd to July 5th.
Now trying to get somewhat of a plan together.

I'm looking at the second week in July staying at AKL savaana view room! Staying there for the first time!

You will love it! AKL and Poly are my two favorite resorts. We are staying at the Poly this year, since it was a better deal. But am looking forward to being at the AKL again one day. Enjoy!
