Disney Fantasy "Star War's Day at Sea" February 10th - 17th, 2018

We did get our photo made wearing our Star Wars shirts. We bought them on the ship.

We saw a few characters through out the day, when we were not reading.

At 4:00 pm the BB-8 Races took place in the Atrium Lobby. A big crowd gathered for this. We really enjoyed this, those little robots were fabulous.

Oh man, I'm so sorry about the camera, but glad it's good as new now! Honeymoon Beach looks beautiful at least! I had considered that excursion, but my youngest isn't "old" enough for it. I had wanted to break up the beach time, but I think we'll just stick to beaches! My kids do love the beaches, even if they're not really my thing.

A Star Wars cruise is totally on my bucket list!

Going back to our cabin during the day we found this Star Wars banner across our bed. We had one like this for our Marvel Day At Sea Cruise last October, so we knew the banner was ours to keep.

During the day there were little skits in the Atrium Lobby that the Cast Mates would get people to play along with. They were called Star Wars Saga - Ep. 1 through Ep. 6.

Then some random photo's I took through out the day.

We went to see the new Star War's movie, The Last Jedi in 3D which was showing in the Buena Vista Theatre at 5:15 pm, which meant we missed dinner in the Main Dining Room.

Once the movie was over we grabbed some chicken tenders and I grabbed a plate of Chocolate Chip Cookies to take back to the cabin.

We went up to Deck 12 to find a spot to stand as we got ready for the Star Wars Summon the Force Stage show. It was very well done, although the stage was really dark at times. Then Fireworks followed after the show. How awesome to have two Fireworks Shows on one cruise.

A little late to the party but following along. We did this cruise a couple of weeks before you and it's always good to see what we either missed or that you did that was different. :flower1: Great job so far, I'm really enjoying it. :flower3:

The hike itself lasted about 25 minutes. There were only a few places where you could see the Ocean clearly along the trail. You had nothing to look at on your hike but the trees and foliage around you. The guide was good and he stopped the group about 4 times to show us a worm, tree, or a fern. Honeymoon Beach was gorgeous but you only had 30 minutes to spend at this beautiful place. The whole afternoon just felt like a waste of time, except for the 30 minutes at Honeymoon Beach. The water was not working at the beach and people were having to wash off their feet with bottled water.
Thanks! I appreciate the details.

Enjoying your trip report and all of the details you are giving. Too bad about your St. Thomas day and camera. Since you've been there multiple times are there any other excursions you would recommend on the island? I am wondering what to book for an excursion since we stop there on our cruise next February. We are not necessarily beachy people either.

I think that will be a good decision. Your kids would be disappointed with only having 30 minutes at the beach with everything else being "boring" to them. lol

I can't remember the names of the excursions, but one is an open air tour through the city then up the mountain for the views looking down on the ships in port. Also a look at Meagan's Beach which is very pretty. We've done the same type of tour on St. John and it was fabulous with the beach being Trunk Bay for the view. We've also snorkeled at Trunk Bay, Visited Meagan's Beach, just walked around the shops in town, and gone out on a catamaran to snorkel.
The Open Air vehicles remind me of the vehicles that take you through the safari at Animal Kingdom.

I thought I would give you the details for Disney's (really horrible) Internet packages.

I hope the above info helps those interested. My DH bought the large plan because he had to keep up with work. When I used it to upload photo's to FB it took absolutely forever, I would have to try to upload the photo's late at night. Disney really needs to overhaul their Wi-Fi packages.

I woke up pretty early and went up to the front of the ship to see the sunrise. I was mad with myself for not getting up to do this before this day. The sun was absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't the only one up snapping photo's, but there wasn't many of us.

Where did you grab some chicken tenders and chocolate chip cookies?

Enjoying the trip report! Lots of new stuff with SWDAS that we did not see in 2016. The BB-8 races are new. I love your Star Wars t-shirts!

That's one thing I loved about our Mexican Riviera cruise. Time zones meant I was awake in time for the sunrise without even trying. Our upcoming one is out of Miami, however, so I'll be lucky to even make breakfast.
