He Just Came For The Food: A March 2018 Dining Report *update 9/22 S. Hollow/GF Cafe

on a hydroponic boat ride where I tried not to laugh out loud at the shape of these
If you had literally laughed out loud, how embarrassed would the boys have been?

If you don't know what it is that he couldn't pass up, it's the dish he had about 15x between our two visits last year, the Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer:
served with steamed rice and coconut lime sauce

img_8304-jpg.324239
It looks good each time you post a picture of it.

img_8303-jpg.324238

Looks so juicy 8-) All I have for you here is, "Ricky do you like it, is it good? "Yeah it's really good". Which I can only translate as there was no fat on the meat or he would have been spitting it out.
I am impressed you got a full sentence on how it tasted!

Peach Bellini:

img_8311-jpg.324423
Yum! But looks too small.

Steve got the
Mozzarella Caprese
vine-ripened tomato, fresh milk mozzarella

img_8315-jpg.324426
It does look really small! How much was it? Morgan would have gobbled that whole thing in no time!

Arancini
fried risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragù

img_8313-jpg.324429
I think I need to try this next time!

Salame e Provolone
dry cured sausage, imported provolone cheese

img_8314-jpg.324424

It looks kind of sad, doesn't it? Cute, and sad. Like I made this plate up at a buffet and didn't like any of the other choices.
It TOTALLY looks like you went up to the buffet and didn't find anything.

Ricky though the pepper was a tomato and popped the whole thing in his mouth and bit into it. He doesn't eat peppers of any kind and no spicy foods, so he was a bit shocked to find out this was not, in fact, a tomato. He grabbed and ate it so quick I couldn't tell him! Plus I was pissed because I wanted that pepper with some of my cheese so serves him right
That is what he gets!

inally our pizzas arrived! Mine first :goodvibes It's one I've been dying to try since my good friend Kari @kastoney always always gets it; my version was just minus the yucky part she adds.
Carciofi Pizza - Individual
white pizza - artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil

img_8319-jpg.324492
I always want to try this, based on Reviews and pictures, but see I need sauce!

Steve tried mine and said it was good but he's a marinara sauce on his pie guy.
I am with Steve, I need marinara on my pizza!

This looks perfect!

A blurry picture of Steve's scallops from........Canada?
Cause Canada is known for Scallops?

Salame e Provolone
Seriously what is up with those apps? They are the tiniest servings ever....I bet the price was not cute or tiny!

Finally our pizzas arrived! Mine first :goodvibes It's one I've been dying to try since my good friend Kari @kastoney always always gets it; my version was just minus the yucky part she adds.
Carciofi Pizza - Individual
white pizza - artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil
This darling is going to be on my plate in August and I can't wait! Although I am firmly in Kari's arugula loving camp.....

And Ricky
Margherita 10" Individual
tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil - add additional toppings
I think this will be just what my niece will pick.

Next up was dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel which included the lovely Avocado Margarita for me and a Dos Equis for Steve:
That avocado margarita looks divine! Too bad you weren't wowed by your meal.

We adored our dinner at VN. I agree, your apps look a bit... tiny, but I'm glad they tasted good for you. :)

And yes, the pizza is very different and can appear burnt to the uninitiated. ;) But, it is delicious. My girls enjoyed the "handsome scenery" even more.

Heh heh heh.

That looks so tasty :worship:

Gah! I have to order these on our next trip. Via Napoli is definitely on our to-do list.

Funny thing, Ricky though the pepper was a tomato and popped the whole thing in his mouth and bit into it. He doesn't eat peppers of any kind and no spicy foods, so he was a bit shocked to find out this was not, in fact, a tomato. He grabbed and ate it so quick I couldn't tell him!

I do see reports here from people who say their pizza was burnt or just didn't taste good. It's a different taste to a point and there will be char on the bottom because of how it's cooked, so if you're totally against that don't go. I agree a burned pizza is no good but you will have a bit of light black, so beware!
My husband and I really enjoyed the pizza there on our last trip. But we're well-done pizza kind of people, so :confused3. Our son did complain about the taste though

Everyone raves about VN but I'm not sold by the price and the comment that it is loud, so I have yet to make an ADR there, I probably need to just suck it up and give it a go, maybe right when it opens :confused3

Do you know if one can get a Cider Flight when it is not festival time in WS??? That just sounds so delicious!!

We usually do an early lunch and it’s not so bad.

You can't go wrong with Via Napoli. For my August trip, you may remember I'm on the (free) QS dining plan and also on a budget, so ADRs are being kept to a minimum. But we wanted to do at least one old and one new place. Via Napoli is the one place we are gong back to. I've only ever had pizza, so this time I would like to try something different. I like the look of the arancini.

I also have an ADR at Homcomin' in Disney Springs. I really wanted to try is since I've read so many great reviews about it.
I am trying to get a Beaches & Cream, but no luck so far. I wasn't surprised since I started planning late.

I am trying to get a Beaches & Cream, but no luck so far. I wasn't surprised since I started planning late.

I have a Beaches and Cream for our August trip but it's late (9pm), and I've been trying to move it earlier for weeks. That's a tough one, I think because it's so small. Also still trying to get into Be Our Guest and having no luck :sad1:

All caught up! I didn’t quote anything, but here’s what I can remember wanting to comment on - all out of order of course... (my disboard time recently has been very minimal, but I still plan on getting back over to your trip report at some point!)

Luke, like Steve, tried his first Moscow Mule at Disney and they are now his go-to drink whenever we eat out as well! He makes them at home fairly often as well!

That tomato soup and grilled cheese from Beaches and Cream is so good! I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to order anything else from there!

Those nachos from the Poly look fantastic! Hopefully they still exist whenever we make it back to WDW...

We ate at Via Napoli once, and our service was so terrible I’m not sure if we’ll be back. Those appetizers look so tiny!

My Maid of Honour and her husband ate at Artist’s Point during my wedding trip, and they raced about how amazing their meals were. I might need to give it a hard look when we plan our next trip...

Those Magic Bars look and sound incredible!

We tried the beloved sugar cane shrimp this year, yum!
Ooh I'm glad you liked it! I'm glad Chris like it also; he's been trying lots more stuff lately and this might be a way to get him back during the festival lol

The Arancini look ballrific :rotfl:
:rotfl2: Perfect!

I feel the same way about fatty meat, it's actually one of the reasons I didn't try that dish because I had read mixed reviews about the quality of the meat.
Yeah he must have gotten a good one because he ate the whole thing!

This hashtag :lmao:
:D:D

Once again late but I’m here now! Loving it so far!!
Better late than never, :welcome: and happy to have you!

Hi Arianne! We have Via Napoli ressies for October. We haven't eaten there in a couple years, and I thought Gia would love it (she's a big pizza eater). Your artichoke pizza looks divine!!!!
I think she will a also, there's lots going on in there for her to watch and just seeing the 3 ovens is neat! Plus it's a very kid friendly restaurant.

Yum! But looks too small.
It was bigger than the drinks they served at the F&G festival lol! But not that big so I did finish it quick :drinking1

It does look really small! How much was it? Morgan would have gobbled that whole thing in no time!
You know I'd have to look up the price; I don't think it was ridiculous but not $5! I think really as an app the size was ok; we weren't already full when our meals came and that's good because lots of times when we get apps we only eat half our meals (but we're big app people so we keep on doing it).

I am with Steve, I need marinara on my pizza!
Will Andy get the Carciofi and you can get a pizza with sauce, and share? I don't know what to tell you, except you'll love their other pizzas too I'm sure!

Cause Canada is known for Scallops?
 :confused3 I don't know, maybe???

Seriously what is up with those apps? They are the tiniest servings ever....I bet the price was not cute or tiny!
Ha it wasn't! As I said above on the one hand it was good they weren't huge so we weren't too full for our meals.......they just looked pathetic

This darling is going to be on my plate in August and I can't wait! Although I am firmly in Kari's arugula loving camp.....
I hope you enjoy it, I just can't get onboard with the arugula :crazy2: It's like someone went into my yard and picked some weeds!!!!

We adored our dinner at VN. I agree, your apps look a bit... tiny, but I'm glad they tasted good for you. :)
We did love our meal, even our cute little apps :p

My girls enjoyed the "handsome scenery" even more.
Oh yes, there's no shortage of nicely kept scenery there for sure!

Gah! I have to order these on our next trip. Via Napoli is definitely on our to-do list.
Great, it's a wonderful choice! Now you just need to plan that trip :thumbsup2

My husband and I really enjoyed the pizza there on our last trip. But we're well-done pizza kind of people, so :confused3. Our son did complain about the taste though
I can understand that; when kids are used to one kind of pizza and you mess with it, forget it. A few years ago we were in Universal Studios and went to a restaurant where Chris got a pizza. It was delicious and looked "normal", but they'd used quite a bit of cornmeal so the bottom was covered with it. No good for Chris :snooty: He ate about half of one piece, most of Steve's food, and we had to get him something else when we left.

Everyone raves about VN but I'm not sold by the price and the comment that it is loud, so I have yet to make an ADR there, I probably need to just suck it up and give it a go, maybe right when it opens :confused3
The pizzas are not cheap! But maybe going at opening is key; if you have it in your mind that you do want to try it, I'd give it a go! At least then you'll know.

Do you know if one can get a Cider Flight when it is not festival time in WS??? That just sounds so delicious!!
Ugh I wish! To my knowledge there isn't anywhere that has a cider flight regularly, but I'd love for someone to come along and say I'm wrong! There is a cart right outside Rose and Crown that has a Pear Cider year round and it's delicious, but I think that's the best you'll do outside of festivals.

August trip, you may remember I'm on the (free) QS dining plan and also on a budget, so ADRs are being kept to a minimum. But we wanted to do at least one old and one new place. Via Napoli is the one place we are gong back to. I've only ever had pizza, so this time I would like to try something different. I like the look of the arancini.
I'm glad you guys are doing some TS meals! Steve loved the chicken parm also; actually everything we had, pizza and otherwise was delicious, so hopefully you enjoy your meal :)

I am trying to get a Beaches & Cream, but no luck so far. I wasn't surprised since I started planning late.
B&C is hard if you can't grab it at 180 days! Are you using Touring Plans reservation finder? That may help immensely.

I have a Beaches and Cream for our August trip but it's late (9pm), and I've been trying to move it earlier for weeks. That's a tough one, I think because it's so small. Also still trying to get into Be Our Guest and having no luck :sad1:
 Yeah, B&C is hard and the size does not help. As I mentioned above to @Terra Nova guy , if you're familiar with Touring Plans reservation finder you can set up a search there for an earlier B&C, and also your Be our Guest! Are you looking for dinner there? Best of luck!

All caught up! I didn’t quote anything, but here’s what I can remember wanting to comment on - all out of order of course... (my disboard time recently has been very minimal, but I still plan on getting back over to your trip report at some point!)
Hey Fallon, it's so nice to see you here  I've been absolutely horrible, horrible at keeping up on your reports and I aploogize, but I am glad you've stopped by :goodvibes

Luke, like Steve, tried his first Moscow Mule at Disney and they are now his go-to drink whenever we eat out as well! He makes them at home fairly often as well!
Cool! Steve had never even heard of one before he tried it down there (because we live under a rock???) and I'm pleasantly surprised he loved it so much. In fact when we go out somewhere and they don't have the ginger beer to make one he is extremely disappointed lol

Those nachos from the Poly look fantastic! Hopefully they still exist whenever we make it back to WDW...
They better have them now that I've discovered them!!

We ate at Via Napoli once, and our service was so terrible I’m not sure if we’ll be back. Those appetizers look so tiny!
I have read some report of bad service; luckily that hasn't been the case for us but bad service does turn us off even when we have a good meal somewhere, so I understand.

Will Andy get the Carciofi and you can get a pizza with sauce, and share? I don't know what to tell you, except you'll love their other pizzas too I'm sure!
hmmmm maybe.... last time we were there, he got veal parm, I think... Which he liked. But it also didn't come 20 minutes before our pizza...

 :confused3 I don't know, maybe???
Maybe @MeghanEmily knows?!?!

We love Artist Point their food is always good and it's such a pretty restaurant. They have the best cobbler...Yummy
Glad you had such a great server at Citricos she sounds wonderful.
Your pizza at Via Napoli is so good I love any white pizza hold the Arugula ;)

I'm so behind...

OMG you won't believe this, but Honey Bunches of Oats is what I switch Honey Nut Cheerios up with ::yes::
Great minds think alike! :thumbsup2

Yes!! Well, you just sit outside at Capt. Cooks in a different area, closer to the outside entrance of Trader Sam's. You'll see when you get there :goodvibes We first went in and got our food from Capt. Cooks, then got a seat outside in the correct area lol and then a server comes over. Plus it's then a very quick trip back to MK, so a win-win for you and Zack!
Perfect!

Blueberry Lemonade - Three Olives blueberru vodka, Bols blue curacao, and Odwalla lemonade with juices of lemon and pomegranate topped with Sprite
All the drinks look so pretty here :drinking1

We all dug in to the warm, soft, some type of mult-grain carbs placed before us along with the Disney sea-salt topped butter. Delicious!
I LOVE multi grain bread!

Half Roast Chicken:
New Potatoes, Lardons, Grain Mustard, Roasted Cabbage, Spring Greens, Jus

This SO does't look like something Ricky would eat, and honestly when he ordered it he figured what the heck, he'd give it a try since nothing else on the menu thrilled him.
He LOVED it. He ate every bite of the chicken and the potatoes. Greens may have been left but that's ok. He also would have preferred the chicken not to be on the bone but it didn't stop him from enjoying dinner.
In case he didn't like his entree, he ordered this side as well

Macaroni & Cheese
Cheshire Pork Confit

Because he ended up happy with his dinner he didn't eat that much of this before he got full, we helped him. This was even better than it looks. I'm not a mac and cheese person but had to try this and I just wish I'd had room to eat it all!

Speaking of not having room, this is why:

7-oz Filet Mignon
Choice of House Side

You'll see as a side I got mashed potatoes. Now close your eyes and look at this picture again; close them one more time, and look again, because myself, Steve, and Chris all got the filet with mashed potatoes. We've had our share of excellent filets at signatures and this was right up there as one of the best as were the potatoes, which were second only to Citricos. I honestly have trouble rating all the filets because other than a couple not so perfect ones at non-signatures, mine have always been wonderful. These did not disappoint!

I have a couple more pics from dinner to share but I'm at my limit, so AP dinner is continued in the next post.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts
Fermented Bean Vinaigrette

They look grotesque don't they? Steve said they were awesome but no way was I trying something that looked like that  Chris attempted and declined to try anymore. But regardless they made it on to the "delicious" list with everything else.

We were all completely full from our fabulous dinner and as we ate we unanimously agreed we'd be back. We also agreed we were too full for dessert (gasp!!), until our server brought the menu. Chris then decided he needed to get something:
Everything looks delicious from AP! Even the brussel sprouts to me :P Except for the cobbler, because fruit dessert = :crazy2:

A beautiful, generous and much appreciated surprise from @Jenny Sanders and her DH Joe! The basket was filled with candy and goodies we all enjoyed. So one more time Jenny, thank you :hug:
So sweet!

A little overcast but I think it's a neat shot! We spent some time in FW Soarin' high above a strangely shaped Eiffel Tower and on a hydroponic boat ride where I tried not to laugh out loud at the shape of these
:rotfl2:

Finally our pizzas arrived! Mine first :goodvibes It's one I've been dying to try since my good friend Kari @kastoney always always gets it; my version was just minus the yucky part she adds.
Carciofi Pizza - Individual
white pizza - artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil

Ah, heaven! Better than I imagined. I feel this particular pizza is perfect for being wood-fired, the components also just go together perfectly. Delicioso! Oh and what Kari adds is Arugula, or as I call it :crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2:.
I love white pizzas. Zack thinks I'm crazy, he's a red sauce guy for sure.

The scallops were Canada, yep! I know, because they're one of the few dishes I could eat, and I ate them just the other day! Yum. Pricey for 1-2 scallops, but tasty. :goodvibes

Cause Canada is known for Scallops?

And yes, Atlantic Canada is big on seafood, including scallops! We get some of the most delicious fresh scallops from a couple of the nice restaurants on the waterfront at home. Yum!!!

Glad you had such a great server at Citricos she sounds wonderful.
With the exception of the time we ate there with Kari, we've had the BEST servers there ever!

I love any white pizza hold the Arugula ;)
My SOUL-SISTA!

I'm so behind...
That's both of our tag line lol

I LOVE multi grain bread!
Me too! And sea-salt butter makes it even better :cloud9:

Except for the cobbler, because fruit dessert = :crazy2:
:rotfl:I find this hysterical because for the most part, I agree! In fact cobbler is pretty much the only exception I make because it has ice cream lol, and the wonderful crispy doughy goodness part. If it was just fruit and ice cream it wouldn't be enough for me to call it a dessert!

And yes, Atlantic Canada is big on seafood, including scallops! We get some of the most delicious fresh scallops from a couple of the nice restaurants on the waterfront at home. Yum!!!
Well duh :sad2: Makes sense!

I hope you had a great trip this time around!

DISNEY SPRINGS/
GEYSER POINT
I left off with us returning to WL after a successful and delicious lunch at Via Napoli. Our next destination was Disney Spring and since it was not yet 4:00, we needed to either take a Minnie Van or go back to some resort to hop a bus anyway. In a surprising turn of events my youngest did NOT want to accompany us to DS, so he climbed into bed when we got to our room. Oh and speaking of getting to our room, when I walked back to our faux-bedroom I saw these on the bed:

IMG_8341.JPG

Huh! These are normally reserved for CL guests. Were we just extra special, or as I noted in my TR was it because when we checked in two days prior I noticed the room needed vacuuming badly and had to request it 3x before it got done? Regardless it was a nice touch and I never turn my nose up at chocolate.

Steve, Ricky and I headed out to the buses to do some DS shopping. Among other things I wanted to get a snack there since I skipped dessert at lunch; it was a toss-up between Amorette's and the Ganachery. Chris and I had gotten desserts from Amorette's a couple years ago and while they were pretty good I wasn't sure that's what I was in the mood for; we stopped there but nothing spoke to me. Over at the Ganachery the truffles were singing my name so I took this pretty little box home :

IMG_8342.JPG

Inside was better:

IMG_8344.JPG

Um, one may have been missing already..... the ones with red on top are dark chocolate raspberry; the milk chocolate one in the middle is peanut butter. The one with the white circle on top is coconut specifically for @ArielSRL :P and the one next to it is a dark chocolate chili truffle as was the missing one, and they were my favorite! They were all delicious although I didn't get to try the peanut butter one because Chris snatched that at some point when he was in the room alone. Imagine that...................I picked up a few other things around DS but it didn't take me as long as I thought, plus we'd gotten there earlier than I'd planned. We had a 6:30 ADR for House of Blues that I was really excited about; however it was only 5:30 when I finished shopping. The plan had been to direct Chris to the bus at WL and meet him at the DS stop but we really didn't feel like hanging out there another hour, and on top of it Ricky's knee was starting to bother him a bit. Even though he was doing well at that point and 4 months post-surgery, this was the most walking he'd done and it was beginning to take a toll.

After some deliberation we decided to skip HOB in favor of Geyser Point so we let Chris know and eventually made it to the buses, after one of Steve's direction fails some of you are familiar with. I explained how this played out over in my TR, and because I do love the man I won't do it again here lol. Suffice it to say when in Disney everyone should listen to ME, period.

We did eventually make it back to WL and after depositing my precious chocolate gems in the fridge (it was August remember) the 4 of us headed down to Geyser Point for some dinner. Luckily the downpour that began while we were waiting-and waiting, and waiting-for a bus in DS stopped; I was afraid it would suck sitting out at GP and had checked Whispering Canyon while on the bus, but everyone else must have had the same idea and there were no openings there, but we were fine.

On our way I snapped a picture of one of my favorite spots around the lodge:

IMG_8327.JPG

And you're welcome for all the different picture sizes here :P

Geyser Point:

IMG_8328.JPG

We had to wait about 10 minute for a table; they keep changing the way seating works here. When we stayed here last August it was just seat yourself, and if you wanted to eat they brought you a menu. Now you have to wait to be seated. It was pretty busy but we were happy with the 10 minute wait.
GP also has 2 menus, one they use during the day that has a few more options on it and one they use at night. I wish I took picture of both! We didn't see what some of us wanted on the menu they presented us with so we asked for the "day" menu, which was brought to us no problem. However we of course started with drinks:

IMG_8329.JPG

We both got our GP go-to's:

Steve-
Black Cherry Mule
Zodiac Black Cherry Vodka, fresh Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar topped with Fever Tree Ginger Beer

Me-
Blueberry Lemonade - Three Olives blueberry vodka, Bols blue curacao, and Odwalla lemonade with juices of lemon and pomegranate topped with Sprite

Let me inject here; if you remember from earlier in my report, what I really wanted at GP this trip was a drink I'd had back in August, the Black Cherry Lemonade. Unfortunately it wasn't on the menu and the bartender our first night there said he couldn't make it. It's not currently on the allears menu but it's still on the Disney site menu:

Black Cherry Lemonade
Grey Goose Cherry Noir Vodka, Odwalla® Lemonade, fresh Lime Juice, and Grenadine topped with Sprite®

We had a big BBQ last Sunday and Steve made these for me, tasted just like Disney's! My mom, sister, SIL and MIL tried it and liked it too, so much so that we had to send my stepson Eric out for more lemonade :drinking1 I'd purchased enough vodka ahead of time, no worries there!

Back to March. From where we were sitting which was under the roof-covered part near the bar, we could see where they held the nightly S'mores campfire:

IMG_8331.JPG

Yup, I took a picture of a pregnant woman making a S'more! I'm creepy.......the pit is right next to GP, outside the pool gate. That night there was quite a bit of action, probably because it had rained so hard which drove lots of people back to the resort and then when it stopped they wanted to get out of their rooms. They played Disney music and the CM's running the campfire were dancing with the kids. Looked like so much fun!

Steve got an app that Ricky was interested in trying:

Edamame - with chili-salt

IMG_8332.JPG

Ricky had never had these before so Steve had to explain how to eat them :teacher: He liked them and so did Steve, the chili salt had a kick but nothing crazy. They polished these off and ordered another bowl. I don't like anything healthy so didn't bother trying one. Chris tried and was appalled that people actually eat these so he left them to his dad and brother.

Picture limit hit so continued in next post!

GEYSER POINT, CON'T

Service was great here and it didn't take long after their 2nd bowl of edamame came for our entrees to be delivered. Chris and I got the same thing:

Classic Bacon Cheeseburger
Bacon, Tillamook Cheddar, Lettuce and Tomato served on an Artisan Roll and choice of Multigrain Salad or Waffle Fries

IMG_8333.JPG

This burger was HEAVEN. OMG. I like burgers but don't get them all that often in Disney, but I'm so glad I got this one. The " Artisan Roll" had a buttery coating on top and was grilled just a little bit. Our burgers were cooked a perfect medium. Chris had proclaimed his burger at Beaches and Cream a couple days earlier to be the best Disney burger, but this came super duper close to replacing it. And the waffle fries were seriously better than any fries I've had down there, except the truffle fries inside WL at Territory Lounge!

Steve continued his healthy trend and got this:

IMG_8334.JPG

Grilled Salmon Salad
with Field Greens, Miso-Plums and Ginger Vinaigrette

Except this isn't what the picture looks like. And while both the current Disney site menu and the allears menu have a salmon salad on them, neither is described like this. Regardless Steve thought this was some of the best salmon he's had and the arugula-wait, let me include my symbol for arugula :crazy2: was very fresh.

Ricky got this:

Smoked Turkey Sandwich

Lettuce, Tomato and Cranberry Mayonnaise served with choice of Multigrain Salad or Waffle Fries

IMG_8335.JPG

I was afraid he wouldn't like the cranberry mayo since he didn't like it much on the turkey sandwich at Gaston's, but he loved this one and the whole sandwich. He also fell instantly in love with the waffle fries, and for good reason.

The happy edamame men:

IMG_8337.JPG

We asked about dessert but they only had one option and it didn't do anything for us but we did opt for more drinks:

IMG_8336.JPG

We were very, very satisfied with our GP meal. The menu isn't big; right now it looks like the Disney site menu is their "evening" menu and the allears one is their "day"menu? But the crab cakes are also on both and they weren't on either menu when we were there, so who knows. Anyway it's not a huge menu so I wouldn't plan to eat there 3 or 4 nights if you were staying there, but it's a wonderful, much nicer option than Roaring Fork for a day or two. For drinks and a snack? Perfect EVERY day!

Before leaving we took a last look at the gorgeous water view:

IMG_8340.JPG

We are so happy they added Geyser Point, not that we had much experience with WL prior! On our first couple of stays there, GP was in the process of being built. Because they have heat lamps it's not bad sitting out there when it's chilly or even drizzly, and the huge overhead fans make it not so bad when it's hot. I did prefer when you just walked up and got a table but I suppose it's gotten too popular for that to continue working well for them.

It was around 9ish when we finished so Steve and I watched part of HEA from the dock again. The boys went back to the room and Ricky rested his knee; when we got back I did some laundry which is always fun. We had a breakfast the next morning we were all looking forward to!
