Missing links on DVC Website

I found it now yes it starts with JAn of 19 which is when were going--for some dumb reason I was thinking the calender was for 2018

I don't know about that. Since it started the online booking calendar has started with the current month. I really can't think of any other online booking calendar that starts with anything other than the current month. It's weird and unexpected.
 
I can't find the waitlist section now (to see my active waitlists). When I search for "waitlist" it comes up that the site is under maintenance. Anyone else having this issue or am I just missing something obvious?

Your waitlists are under My Dashboard, scroll down.

They are listed with your reservations, not in their own section.

If you have two waitlists, does it automatically cancel the second one if you get matched? My pool/garden view BWV got matched, but I still wanted the standard view waitlist to be active. I have no waitlists now.
ETA: I searched it and it looks like that is the case. If you have two and one fills they cancel the other one. Bummer, but at least I got into the resort I wanted. Thank you for letting me know where to look - I was getting frustrated because "waitlist" used to be on the drop down menu.

I will let others chime in as I have always stalked more than used them. So I don't want to give you erroneous information.

But years ago it was up to us to cancel them, when we got what we wanted (or leave one alone in your case). Not anyone else. And/or sometimes we used to ger a phone call in a situation like that.

Yes, it will cancel the second one if you have 2 set up for the same time and one matches. You can of course set up the other one again. Another way that works to keep the second one is to put the waitlist in a different name. The CM's might still cancel it if they don't check closely enough but usually they'll leave it.

What I am missing, is when you enter a date, it brings up that specific date only, it doesn’t display the whole month availability which it used to do. Maybe if my requested date/dates are not available that week, it is available later in the month, or the next month. Any help appreciated.......
 
I found the new booking tool, but how can I search for a particular room category? For example, if I want to book club level at AKL, how can I see what dates are available (even a random one night anytime in the next 11 months). This used to be pretty easy to do, but I don't see an option now.
 
Ariel, simply push the suite size and then choose AKV - Jambo (no need to do a thing if it is your home resort, it would already be checked off ------ under show resorts tab if not your home resort. I am guessing you already know this part, listing just in case.

All categories will come up - Savanna, Standard, Value and Concierge.

To see concierge booking availability simply press on it. And it will expand for that category for you.

I am on the phone right now so giving you phone prompts but I believe that they are the same.

I thought that maybe it was chosen so members are immediately at the seventh month booking window. Since changes/bookings are most popular in that month. And it will flip to February soon.

Or not. :laughing:
