I did ask. They would not let me add the pineapple. Bummer! Also, if you want the Backstratcher drink, the Backstratcher is included, they were just out when we went.
That is kind of a bummer. I guess I will just have to get my Lapu Lapu at the bar after... What is the Backstracher? Maybe I will ty that when we go!

Does anyone have the following info:

What scotch is included in the Reg Dis dining plan at Rose and Crown?

How are they handling QS credits being cashed in at Food and wine? Can you get a drink with that at the kiosk? 2 dishes? 3 dishes? Thanks!

You can get any three items that are eligible as snack credits. No alcoholic beverages are ever snack credits.

I read earlier on in this thread that a teenager (who in DDP terms is an adult) was not allowed to order a specialty drink (n/a)?! Can anyone who has been there recently confirm this? I feel that if we are paying an adult price, he should be allowed a specialty drink.

We were there last week, and my 12 yr old “Disney adult” was allowed to order a specialty drink. Multiple times throughout the week he ordered smoothies or virgin daiquiris.

Good to know. Thank you. It makes sense. We're paying for them as adults so they should be able to order the specialty drinks.

Anyone should be allowed to order a specialty drink. They won’t be allowed to order a souvenir drink. I imagine that distinction can cause confusion.

Even a Disney kid could order a virgin daiquiri?

If you read back through the thread, it depends on the CM and how the menu is worded. If the kid is ordering a kids meal at TS, and the TS menu specifies that the kids meal includes a soda or milk, then most CMs are saying the kids have to pick from the kids beverage selections and can't order a specialty drink. Others have had luck with having kids order a specialty drink.

4 on DDP but only 2 are over 21 - going HOME in May 2019, can my husband and I use our two children's alcoholic beverages??? They are both under 21.
Thanks- Diane

We're going in February next year, and I doubt I will partake in the alcohol because we're traveling with our 1 year old and 3 year old - so can I just use my alcoholic beverage and give it to my husband? Not that he will/will not drink it. I like to 'taste' things, but if I then give the rest to him am I going to get the side eye from cm?

If you buy bottled beer in the park, it's opened correct? But not at the resorts, like say, the small carton wines (not positive they are available at Disney World, but they are at Universal in the quick service type restaurants.) I'm just wondering if I went to the qs at the hotel and grabbed a boxed wine/beer if I could just save it for later? After the kids are in bed? Thanks!

You can order the drink and give to your husband. That's what I did on our trip last month. I tasted a few drink, but I don't generally drink alcohol. And I needed to watch my 7 year old. Only the waitress at 50's Prime time called him on it. :upsidedow

Bottled beer in the park was opened. I got my husband drinks at Sunshine seasons twice, and I needed to open both drinks. They offered me a cup for them. At POP Century, I did not have to open the drink.

We have the following ADR's and have 4 TS credits with the dining plan. What would be the best use of the 4 credits?

Chef Mickey-Dinner
Boathouse-Dinner (2 TS credits)
CRT-Dinner (2 TS credits)
Via Napoli-Dinner

Thanks!

You would have to price out what you would order at Boathouse and Via Napolu yo know for sure.

We have the dining plan and will be using many of our credits to enjoy signature restaurants for dinner. DH and I will usually have at least 2 drinks with these dinners...cocktail and glass of wine or a couple of glasses of wine. Is it just automatically the first drink you order that is included or the less expensive of the beverages that is automatically included in the plan? Would it be ok to ask the CM waiting on us to include the more expensive on our tab with the meal and pay OOP for the lesser? We are there for 12 nights so a few dollars difference times the two of us each night could add up a bit.

Did 15 days in Aug-Sept on DxDP and QS plan (2 rooms, different plans for each)
Absolutely no issues with adults using childs DxDP credit at any restaurant and alcoholic drinks were offered at every restaurant. Truly love the DxDP especially when its upgraded from Free Dining...................................

Ohana x3

Boma breakfast x4
Cape May breakfast x5
