Yes! I looked forward to it so much, and tried it while living in Australia. Each piece had a garnish on top and my piece had a sprig in mint stuck in it. Sadly, that made the entire piece of pavlova taste strongly of mint, which I’m not a fan of. Never had the chance to try it again.

Snake? It was fine as an appetizer.

I have never heard of mint being inside it, weird.

Some pieces had a piece of strawberry on top, some had a piece of kiwi, etc. mine had a sprig of mint and it had been stuck in from the top like a planted tree. The fruit didn’t change the flavor, but the mint permeated my pavlova. Ruined it The Aussies I was with tasted it and confirmed it was awful. They would have traded with me, but they’d hurriedly gobbled theirs down.
